So...Destiny 2.
Is anybody else, really hoping that Destiny 2 will be a prequel?
As in, the entire game's campaign/story will be defending Earth from the Fallen? The Moon from the Hive? Venus from the Vex, and so on?
Could you imagine the brutal scale of such a battle? Fallen Walkers everywhere, Vandals with Wire Rifles in every building, Stealth Vandals with Swords waiting around every corner! Even, an endless wave of Vex pushing you out of the Venus coast! Hell, I'd even go so far as to hope for a playalong mission with Eris and her first encounter against Crota.
Thoughts?
Disclaimer: I'm watching Battle Los Angeles atm, and all I'm thinking about gamewise is Halo 3: ODST, which is one of my favourites for the invasion side of things (Reach was NOT my favourite....).
