Do you guys think your K.D really matters in trials? I think that it's not mainly your K.D but skill. I see people saying they want someone 1.00 K.D or higher. And it's leaving people out. People with lower K.D doesn't mean they're a bad player. What do you guys think?

Don't give me that "they died for the objective bullshit". Most of the time a player with a high k/d knows how to play objective and get the kills because they know how to defend it! Try keeping a k/d like mine for over 90k kills, you will see it's not a cakewalk. You are just as easy to die in this game. And for trials it is all about staying alive, and the person with the higher k/d will know most of the time know what to do. ~TheGreatNike

1 RespuestaHave been with teams who farm k/d (res snipe) from unskilled teams. K/d's in trials should be treated with caution. Despite this it is usually an accurate indicator of skill from my experience.

Sort of. Get a player with really bad kd and get him to be the leader. SBMM will hook you up with noobs and guarantee you a free lighthouse trip.
-
For the most part yes. Two people should be good at killing more then dying. The third guy can be a distraction like me!

3 RespuestasYou're right. Kd isn't the only factor, yes the person or persons that will be in lead of the team will hopefully have a good enough kd to back it up. Being a support player is very important in trials too. No need for everyone to have a 2.0 average. If you go in with the strategy to have the not so awsome guy play watch out, assister guy with the other 2 main focus to grab those snipes off the jump or quick rush you'll do just fine. It's always good to have that one guy who's really good at holding down an orb, able to call player position, and or good at revive pushing. My trials kd on ps4 is crap which is mostly because I only play with randos, but I tend to do the best in clutch situations where the other team just rushes at you cause you're the last. I still can't go flawless with these randos. It's so much easier on the xbox1 than ps4.

2 RespuestasIf your kd is 1.0 you are they guy who gets carried or trades everytime and Des the whole time not helping the team. Kd in trials matters unlike crucible kd.
-
Kd doesn't really matter, it's all about how you perform, but if you're gonna be good why not look good?
-
Teamwork is more important in trials but having a 3 kd on your team helps
-
3 RespuestasIt's a no brainer. The more kills you have the better you are.
-
My kd is crap cuz i don't care. I'd rather play with lower kd people. For some reason in this game the higher the kd the bigger the douche. Especially in trials lmao
-
Your kd reflects your skill though. Skill in team work is a must in trials. But if you carry a .5 kd it reflects that you aren't that skilled in PvP, while someone that carrys a 2.0 shows that he has a higher skill level an better survival rate

I played thorn days an got wrecked alot now on this meta I can make it to the light house
-
not really
-
I have a 1.1kd in crucible cuz i haven't done trials before. Am i good enough??
-
I see at least.9 and above to be able to get a kill for each death good.
-
1 RespuestaMeh trials is like aids

2 RespuestasYour TRIALS kd matters. Not regular Crucible.
-
It only matters if you want it to. The majority of players with a high k/d play every game 110 percent.....alot of the time it can be against players that are just playing to have fun, when that happens the good get better ( k/d ) and the others get worse......so are the high k/d players better? Probably, since they try to be but if evreyone tried 110% the majority of high k/d players wouldn't be above 1.0. Golf is a good example, when I play with friends our scores suck...why? We actually could care less about the score and more on if I can make the bank shot off the tree.....what's your priority?
-
Yes, but then again my KD is average and I have gone flawless with people around my KD so I wouldn't know
-
6 months ago I was 1.1ish KD in all game modes I wanted to get better so I played more trials And got better Now I'm a 1.6ish but ran at a 1.8 every week The old me would have no chance at beatin me now in a one on one With that being said team work is more important then KDs but if you run into a team with 3 KDs it's not much team work you can do when each guy can wipe yo team by they self High KDs mean high level of play, skill, Experience, and/or work
-
-
Some just camp to boost kd . So no

As my k.d isn't great my opinion is invalid lol
