Gally year 2
I want to know what is the appeal for this cause I see no reason to bring this to year 2 standards the design is bad I prefer other rockets even a sword over gally
And to clarify I am a year one beta tester of destiny
So convince me that gally should come to year 2

I see that many people want this gun back for fun and variety. In my opinion I don't want it to come back not because it won't have a repeat of year one but because it would be a underwhelming weapon compared to other heavies. I year one I used this rocket and thought I was a beast with this wrecking anything in my path but then I realized that it took the challenge the victory from a hard nightfall or POE and I immediately hated it. Yes I know it is the most used rocket I have versus the other because soon after I realized swords were a thing I wanted to slice and dice then make things go boom like Michel bay also with any rocket there is a slight chance that you would blow yourself up. It's a personal vendetta I have with this gun and I wanted to see what others thought of it thank you for your input - Dia Out

2 RespuestasI think it worth it to eventually bring it up to y2 standards but I would change things up because it was a little op even though I loved it. Make wolf pack rounds the signature allows on perk like some have. Then make players really choose what they want kinda like with the suros weapons. if you want tracking, if that's a perk, you really have trade off like a good boost to impact and/or velocity for tracking. With all the new perks and old ones they could do a lot to make it a good RL in your line up but not so OP you feel you always need it. For that one I would also make it a quest reward just for some added fun and a challenge. Gally was the go to RL before so make it fun to get this time around vs endless hours of grinding hoping it would drop.

Ghally was fun, we need more gear that is fun, that is why they should bring it back. Year 2 gear is sorely lacking in fun and variety.

2 RespuestasIt would be good for certain situations...I admit I used the Hunger of Crota more than the Gally because it freed up the exotic slot...but 2 or 3 gallys were great for certain situations....bring back HOC also...Gally like the sleeper simulant? just good to have at the ready.

18 RespuestasTry fighting the taken cabal boss in PoE. His health is incredibly high for the 30 meter ground slam attack. Try the nightfall for this week without black spindle. It is simply too hard to get through. My team tried about 20 times before we got through. The Gally nerf only fixed a problem that was the result of a problem that was ignored by Bungie and the community, horrible boss design. Just ask if you want my analysis of the main problem.

11 RespuestasOh no, all the salty kids in here.... Did you NEED the gally to beat the raids? No, you didn't NEED it..... Was it the best tool for the job (especially Crota)? Yes. Is/was it boring to simply only use the gally? Yes, it easily got boring, but it was still the best tool for the job. If you wanted to complete either raid as quickly and effectively as possible you, and your team used the Ghorn. Before I got it, it sucked trying to get into LFG raid groups, but you know what, once I got it and played in raid groups that required it there was a hell of a difference between the effectiveness of fireteams who had it versus the fireteams who didn't. All exotics should have been pulled forward, what, your new weapons are too shitty to compare to y1 weapons? Then maybe you aren't so good at making new weapons. Anyways, bring on the salt.

I don't really care, if I want the entertainment of Gally I just use the Y1 variation, if suddenly we start Y3 items I would like to see a Y2 Gally so it would still be relevant as a weapon but not functional for end game.

12 RespuestasI would like to point out the weapon was nerfed back in Y1 but is still very -blam!-ing good but not as OP as it was. You can still 2 shot crota on hard with the thing so i mean that should tell you something. I think people want it back mostly so they can have a exotic that is worthy of being a exotic. Very few of those nowadays due to crucible nerfs.

7 RespuestasI played the beta myself. I didn't buy the gally on week 2, and it never dropped for me. So I used the truth pretty much all year one, expect the last 2 weeks. I had a lot of friends that played, so I never had trouble with getting a raid group. The weapon was trouble for this game because it was one of a kind.

Only squeaking elitist kids who had Gjallacrutch killed Atheon and Crota hard. I don't own the Gjallarhorn my little brother does (he plays on the hunter class and hence why its where you'll find the most ghorn kills in my profile) while I play on a Warlock

5 RespuestasClear and simple. It was the Easy Button if Destiny year 1. When I review it I plan to make a moc commercial. Have my guardian wear blue even and go all sales pitch. A Raid giving you trouble? Gotta complete it as fast as possible and skip all the fun of making any effort? Gjallahorn! Just apply directly to the boss.
