Just curious. Like did we immediately think that the traveler is Allah, God, the messiah or whatever the -blam!- you believe in, the second we found it? Even now we call it a God so did we give up on religious beliefs as a whole?

1 RespuestaOf course there is. If you believe in the Purple Ball, his incandescence will serve as a lighthouse, whose beacons of light will cut a path through the darkness and guide you on your journey to the true way of the light. May the Purple Ball bless you with his incandescence.

2 RespuestasAllah just means God in Arabic by the way. So your second sentence doesn't make much sense.

Editado por PD Enki: 5/10/2016 4:45:31 AMMaybe since its the future, we finally ditched our primitive and irrational beliefs in favor of something real and tangible. (The Traveler)
Super edgy Heute

Please don't go all keyboard warrior on me, i'm trying to sleep.
Bungie would be avoiding religion in their games and rightly so.
-
2 RespuestasMaybe all religions were abandoned and they started to worship the traveller and also science and technology as well
-
There's always religion. Everywhere
-
Grimoire says some cultures survived the collapse but purposefully makes very little mention of religion because people would get super butthurt over it. I guarantee if any exists at all, it's more than one.
-
Their religions/beliefs were the faction that try rule over the city so they try to get as many followers they can
-
3 RespuestasFollowing of the light is the primary but the factions believe in more. Dead Orbit believes that the future is in the past of what is now gone. Future War Cult believes in science and that the only way forward is to expand by force. New Monarchy believes someone should take reigns over what was to bring everyone leadership not 1 object. That's just my opinions and guess though from the cards.
-
Not sure there is, but I do know one thing that gets you thrown out real fast.....knowing too much about the darkness.
-
I'm gonna go with no since we seemed to have lost our history when the darkness swept through the system.
-
No, hopefully they're too advanced to believe in the fairytales our society indulges in.
-
2 RespuestasThe religions were probably confused and scatered, I doubt some religions would have trouble holding on to faith, as long as they believed that the traveler wasn't a godly entity. New religions around the traveler are inevitable, but everyone probably just looks set the traveler as protection.

1 RespuestaThe future looks bright doesn't it.
-
Bow to the traveler.
