[spoiler] 117, factually speaking, is augmented (a SPARTAN II, to be precise), has faced things much deadlier and much more alien than this, and is also geared in power armour with a variety of weapons at his disposal, and can easily slip up and snap his opponent's neck before they knew he was there. Additionally, 117 has a motion tracker, meaning he pretty much always knows where his opponent is, if said opponent is within it's proximity. Well this is stupid. The chief has amazing armour and has been trained since he was a child. Although Nathan is awesome he has no chance of defeating him. Chief would be the tank battle on Ultra hard God mode difficulty.
