The Last word's former glory
The last word should get its extra precision damage when firing from the hip. Because, at the moment there is literally no reward for hip firing, and the original purpose of the gun, was for hip firing.

Most of the community was trash with the gun and the few that practiced and got lethal with it wrecked, so Weisnewski made sure you'd never pick it up again. Thing is, instead of people banding together out an end to shit like this, they're just glad they don't have to worry about it anymore because they didn't use the gun anyway. What they all fail to realize is that soon, when people start getting good or using their favorite gun, Jon will do the same to that one.

30 RespuestasTLW is fine in its current state. It still has the hip fire bonuses and fire rate which make it a threat at close range. It now just doesn't have the ability to kill with two shots.

I just used it last night. It is still very viable, whether hip fire or ADS. I actually think it's good now. I was against a nerf originally, but it's the most balanced it's ever been

The reward for hip firing was because it has much better stability when hip fired. I used this gun all the time and never two shot anyone.

It's still a beast, you just have to aim now.

It could also use something extra to make it useful in PvE. Maybe if each hip-fire precision kill has a good chance to pull a round from the magazine? Of course it could just have another damage boost in PvE, which I'm not against, but I think my idea would better parallel First Curse's buff.

I got a 335 Last Work over the weekend from an exotic engram. I promptly infused it into my Hung Jury. That is what Bungie has done to TLW; turned it into infusion fuel.
