Why does melee have to be so PC
What's the deal with everyone suddenly saying shit like "warlock melee isn't even a melee" or "can you even call it a melee?" Really the only true melee is the titan punch. Tell what exactly is hand-to-hand about a throwing knife or a smoke bomb or teleporting to stab some one. They use melee because there's no other -blam!-ing word to describe it. I challenge you to either come up with a different melee for warlocks that fits their class, or a better word to describe their melees.
Note: Definition of a Melee: a confused hand-to-hand fight or struggle among several people.
Edit: In case it wasn't obvious enough, I want people to stop using melee literally. I provided the definition so people wouldn't come up with bs like "melee means close quarters combat."

Rupturing the space around it and forcing high impact into the intended target. If warlocks couldn't control this well it'd be like a bomb going off in their face.

Melee is not a term used to describe only hand to hand combat. There are melee weapons. Really anything can be used to melee. If I take the butt of a rifle, and hit someone in the head with it I have effectively melee'd them in the head using a long range weapon not meant for melee combat.
