Looking for some feedback, advice, shared stories, etc. About me: I'm a grown man and I'm truly a very centered person with an easygoing personality. Until I step into PvP. Once I do, I become a maniacal rage fiend. It's situational - if I'm crushed by someone with better skills or build, etc., I'm ok. A bit frustrated if it happens a lot, but ok. And I can often even admire the better player's skills. But, if my perception is that I'm getting rekt due to lag (red bar player/no damage/glitching), broken game mechanics (missed melees, etc.), and that kind of thing, well . . . I just lose my damned mind. I'm yelling and cussing and, sometimes, convincing myself not to throw my controller at the wall. It's really no way for an adult to act, but I've been unable to get a handle on it since COD MW2. Anyone else have this disease? More importantly, anyone have it and figure out how to beat it? Also, share your stories - I'll start. Once my neighbor came running over to my house, phone in hand to call 911, to 'stop someone from being killed.' I was home alone playing a laggy PvP match on COD BO2. And just to head off the inevitable - I have awesome Internet and equipment. Getting a better connection is not the answer. EDIT: Over half say they are ragers and have no rage-shame. Not sure if they rage less than me, thus don't have as much to be embarrassed about, or just really have no shame! Lol EDIT 2: Some genuine and good advice offered. Thanks! It's also nice to know that I'm not the only one to "twist my controller to death!" Hearing stories like that, as well as many others, is encouraging - it helps to know others share your experiences and some are just funny as hell, (ok, maybe not at the time, but now . . .) EDIT 3: Honeybadger ragers still have a commanding lead in the poll! Lol. And to the guardian whose reply is about a honeybadger, I just can't reply to you. Not wont, can't. I don't understand a damned thing you were saying. Lol
