#2 is blatantly false. I've received several treads upon stars and 2 cloaks without laying so much as a finger on the last flayer.

I've received several treads upon stars and 2 cloaks without laying so much as a finger on the last flayer.[/quote] Last time flayers was nightfall I was helping a friend grind for the cloaks I would weaken them with the void sword and she would finish them off because she was only around 270-275 and I got the cloak for the last flayer without killing it so yeah #2 is definitely false.

I've done two night falls this week without so much as a blue engram or a glimmer consumable.

Where is the last flayer being killed? If its anywhere on that platform near the edges, the engrams can fall over the side and end up at your postmaster. Happens to me all the time.

Last time I played that strike, my friend launched the enemy off the edge with a shoukder charge. I could see the engrams leave the corpse as they all fell off the edge

And that same strike, i was followed into the entry room by about 7 phalanx. Didnt last long at all, and I got 1 of them with a tripmine

That happened to me on one of my recent nightfall runs. We were waiting to rez our third friend who joined us mid-process in there and like [b]all[/b] the adds followed us in. Good thing for dragons breath, that's all I can say.

Another possibility is if you were right next to him when he went down, the instant the engrams popped out of him you picked them up before they became fully visable and you didn't notice. That can also happen. Otherwise, other than some unbelievably bad luck I don't know what to tell you. I've never not had blues drop from any boss, ever.
