Awesome info there and thanks for sharing! My experiences have been quite a bit different, yet are rather very consistent...though I didn't actually document everything along the way. But I do keep track in between EE's obtained from 3oC's and how many it took to get the next one.
When waiting 10-15 minutes between 3oC usage, while just casually playing solo (mostly patrol/story), I am pretty much guaranteed an EE within that 5-7 3oC's range-- no more than 10.

NOTES and TIPS when using 3oC's for EE's:
-- For those that are primarily casual/solo players, patrol (especially Cosmodrome) seems to be by far the best and fastest way to get EE's from 3oC's. Just look for the Taken "Skull Patrols"-- my number one source of EE's. The Taken events that spawn don't seem to produce as well as the the Taken Patrol Champs...at least not in my experiences. Cosmodrome and Dreadnaught seem to have the highest percentage of having Skull Patrols show up, with a Taken Champ at the end. And they are fast and easy...no need to run through 3 areas like on Venus/Moon, as you kill Taken.
-- If casual/solo, farm for EE's by rotating with your 3 Guardians-- if you have 3 that is. Use a coin on 1 character and hit patrol (looking for Ultra/Skull patrol) or a mission (Eye of Gate Lord/Winters Scourge/Entropy's Pinnacle...etc.). After defeating the Ultra, switch to your other characters and do the same. Then rinse and repeat so that you have that constant 10-15 minute wait period per character.
-- Entropy's Pinnacle is an extremely easy and fast Ultra farm/mission. Race to the "elevator" in the Citadel. Jump across platforms and defeat the mob, leaving special ammo laying around if you have a shotgun/fusion/sidearm equipped. Equip sniper/rocket launcher and grab ammo lying around. Pop 3oC coin/ammo synth (if needed). Trigger Echo spawning. When the Echo spawns race down to the tall floating surface-- the one at the beginning of the main platform. Then just place a couple of quick snipes/rockets to the Echo (even use Icebreaker for regular mission level). Hopefully pick up EE! The whole mission is over in less than 10 minutes. Very fast and easy!
-- Farm in different locations/missions/Ultras every time. Not sure if it truly helps, but it does break up the monotony a bit and for me it seems to produce far better results.
-- While patrolling the Cosmodrome, the 'Enemy Stopped/Troll Patrol' patrol, Ultra- found in The Divide, counts as a qualifying Major/Ultra for 3oC's and EE.. So if you see that patrol pop up after grabbing an "Eliminate Target Patrol" in The Steps and The Divide, pop a coin and go pop a Kell!
This guy also counts as 7-8% for the Chaperone quest (along with the Taken Champions from Skull Patrols). Makes that step of the quest a breeze for casuals/solo players and those that don't like PvP.
-- Probably old news to everyone, but hey...it just may help one person out there. Transfer all your EE's to your highest Light Guardian before opening. Also equip your highest Light gear before opening. The only time you may not want to transfer to your highest Light character, is if you are after a specific piece of gear for a certain class-- since exotic engrams are "weighted" towards being usable by the class that 'opened' them. But in most cases, just open with the highest Light Guardian, for higher light gear-- for infusing and such.
Good Luck farming exotics....to all :]

Are you sure about the chaperone rep. Ikilled the taken champ in dock 13 with TLW and the kell with it equipped and got zero rep.

Editado por BetrayedRhino85: 5/9/2016 11:40:09 PMHi there! The part of the Chaperone quest that I am talking about is, I think, Step 5-- where you have to defeat Guardians in the Crucible and/or high level minions of Darkness, with a shotgun. This part of the quest line to acquire the Chaperone is called Buckshot Bruiser. I believe that the part that you are talking about is Step 1. In that step, you have to defeat Guardians in the Crucible with The Last Word equipped (or just jump on your sparrow and do some SRL, with TLW equipped). I do know for a fact that the kell in The Divide (from the 'Enemy Stopped/Troll Patrol', patrols) does work towards the Buckshot Bruiser (Step 5) part...as long as you kill it with a shotgun. That's how I did my Step 5. Same goes for the Skull/Taken Champ patrols. Each kill of those Ultras, with a shotgun, will net you 7-8% towards progress in the Buckshot Bruiser part of the Chaperone quest. But yeah, for Step 1, you need to go into the Crucible and 'defeat' guardians with the TLW equipped. But you don't have to equip it the whole time or actually get kills with it though-- just have it equipped when you do the killin'. Some players wait until their supers charge or they get heavy ammo, then equip TLW, and hopefully get some kills. Then they un-equip TLW and repeat. And again, you can have TLW equipped if SRL ever does make it back, and it will count the players you beat as qualifying as 'defeated Guardians' in the Crucible. At least it did the first go round. Hope this helps and good luck to you!

Ok That now makes sense. It didn't gel that you could do the crucible part in patrol areas. lol I might have to get some clannies to repay some crucible favours

Very good info. Seems we think alike. But, then again, I think everyone is trying to figure out how these coins work best.

I certainly agree... Those coins seem to be a beast that can't quite be tamed. I just stick with what has consistently worked fairly well, for me. Which may not have worked at all for others. It appears that the almighty RNG produces different results for different folks-- some with decent success and some have had little to no luck...despite doing the same things as others. Almost as if it's random! ; ] Gotta love it!
Or hate it, I suppose...
Either way, I (and we) appreciate your time and effort at trying to make sense of those particularly peculiar particulates. And congrats on the 335 Zens. I have yet to tame a 335...anything (some 334's). But I'm in no real hurry. At least that's what RNG keeps telling me.
