It's simply not true. At all. Yes, you have bad apples, such as Boko Haram, but you got the majority, a mainly peaceful people. Same with Christianity, you got the KKK and the Abortion Center attackers, but I'm sure the majority and kind, nonviolent people. Same with the Hindu. Same with the Jewish.
Everyone has bad apples. "Oh, but Insert radical group does not represent the real face of Insert religion" well, neither does Al -blam!-ing Qaeda then, does it?
If you say all Muslims are followers of ISIL, then by that logic all Christians are members of the KKK, all Hindu are followers of Saffron, etc.
Also, don't pull the bullshit of "Well, the Quran says to kill non believers". There are examples of Jesus being just as much of an asshole as Ye Olde last prophet. He tells some guys to kill their children who spoke poorly about them because they criticized him for not washing his hands. (Leviticus 20:9) Does he still seem like an amazing person?
No one interprets it that way, aside from extremists. No one, aside from extremists, interprets the "kill all infidels" thing as what their God wants.
Edit; I completely agree with what people are saying about the religion. User (OnlyAlfredo) said that true Islam is radicalism, and true Christianity is something like westboro baptist church. I'm saying the followers aren't super violent
Edit: I'm talking about the followers, not religion.
