It's the same as running the raid with a better 320 player but people are always looking for +330 now
-
Why 330+ because most of my gear is almost 335 so I can be that low most of the time on the plus side I can use yr 1 stuff and still be about 310

Level isn't the same as skill though. I know people said this but sure you can take more damage but would you survive longer and deal more damage? Skillful people should be sought out for more than high light people. I mean some person down lower said they have never done the raid but they are light 335 and someone responded you won't be able to do it without knowledge. If you don't know the strategy they are doing then they might kick you. I have played the raid many times until I just stopped playing for about a month and now everyone is looking for 330 and up. Leveling is way to easy now but you just can't join people without knowing a single thing about it like going to China and saying stuff you thought you heard before.

It sucks, I know. I'm 328, but before I found someone that would take me eventually I did better than most people there that were higher. On hard I was doing almost twice the amount of DPS as some were because they haven't taken the time to do a simple daily heroic to get a good sniper, but they'll take hours doing a raid and even then, proceed to shoot Warpriest and Golgoroth with a primary auto rifle
-
It's mostly because people new to the game can easily hit 320 now. People more experienced with the raid and whatnot are gonna be people who are 330+. However, light doesn't necessarily equal skill. I never ask for more than 315-320 when I'm playing on LFG.
-
And again :D i bet if i go online now with my 322 main i will find a fireteam in less then 5 minutes
-
Because it's so easy to increase your light now there is no real excuse to not be over 330+ if you are an active and experienced raider. You go much lower than 330 light and you end up getting a bunch of players that have never even completed the raid, have no idea what they are doing and just making the raid a grind in aggravation.

3 RespuestasI am 335, 334 and 333 on my characters and have never done a raid since my two Vault of Glass completions back in early year one. Maybe I can help anybody in the latest raid? Because high Light?!?!
-
Shit, I did the Golgoroth challenge 2 days ago at 305 light on hard mode. I told my team I would hold the gaze first since I wouldn't do much damage. Granted I have done the raid several times on my PS4 (did this one on Xbox one) they all added me for future raids cuz if I can kill it at 305 light then then obviously at higher levels I can be of more help by doing more positions. Went from 305 to 312 just from 2 bosses.

3 RespuestasSolution is matchmaking. Solved with an option to not use matching..

Because its a higher light and people think you do more damage/take more damage. Unfortunately, there is no changing these peoples minds. Luckily there is so many ways to get a higher light level without raiding....

28 RespuestasWow. If any legitimate player is still at 320 then just no. They stopped playing a month ago apparently. If you're not 330 by now then you haven't played the game in 4 weeks. Only way anyone is not 330. Judge raid requirements by number of completions. Not at 50 minimum by now then you're not experienced. You may know the raid in Your head but that's not experience.
-
Most people who are experienced and can run the raid are still playing and 330+
-
1 RespuestaBecause the people who actually run the raid on a consistent basis should be above 330 by now and should be 334-335 on all characters If your not then that usually means ether you don't play raid much (won't be of much help) or you have been playing normal to get past 320 plus rank up packages (still won't be of much help because don't know HM mechanics)

7 RespuestasEditado por SilentFight2411: 5/8/2016 10:58:49 PMThese posts on LFG with light requirements fall into the following groups: 1. Try-hards/Elitists- D-bags that want things their way & aren't open to anyone else's ideas or opinions on anything in game. You'd better be highly skilled & take the game more seriously than you do your own life if you play the game with this group. 2. Lazy Ones- Pretty self explanatory. This group of people are usually average to below average skill wise so they are looking for someone to pick up their slack. There is one group of players that are on there that are extremely hard to find nowadays. I'm a member of it but stay away from LFG. Good Times- This group of players do nothing in game but try to have fun and are chill. The team wipes a few times in the raid or whatever other activity, hey it's cool it happens. This group is accepting of all skill levels, patient, helpful & friendly. Sorry about the wall of text. TLDR: Stay away from groups 1 & 2. They will ruin your in game experience & sadly they are growing in their numbers.

They are trying to get an experienced team. But it's nice to help someone out here and there. Helped a 310 with 5 completions (all on normal I think) with a run this morning. I saw him respond to posts trying to get in a team and I messaged him just to make sure he did, but he was just sitting there by himself with no one :( makes me want to help more ppl out

I joined a group where a chick at 335 light had to be told which was plate 2 before every round at oryx when I was running relic. Light level means shit.
-
I know what you mean. It was nearly impossible to join KF HM at 315-325. Once I get 335 I'm asking for only 335 can join. See how dumb that is? Some players just don't get it.

-
It's because they are trying to get experienced players. Played with two the other night though that were and they were horrible. Doubt they ever have done the hard raid. Before we started he said he would kick anyone that sucked. He and his friend constantly bitched at each other and were only players to die. Took them 4 times to beat totems. One was also trying to shoot war priest and golgoroth with doctrine of passing....
-
I am only 322 but I don't have that much time to raid every week but I have done the raid all the way to oryx 3 times since the April update I just never have a enough time. I can do every position in the raid (faze/runner/plate caller)
-
Really? But the difficulty is still the same isnt it?
-
Well before it was harder to et a higher light level, now it's honestly so easy it's literally just playing and bam level up. But yeah anything around 315 is more then enough to raid
