"Jolly Holiday" Quest Xbox One..Need Help
I don't know how, but I need help on this one badly. I have been stuck on part one of this quest since The Taken King DLC came out. I can not go positive with The Last Word. I have seen 13% and 10% as my two highest. I will go 5 deaths trying to use it before I get a kill with it, just to die half a second later.
I am frustrated with this weapon and the fact for some reason, I can not get kills with it (or the other exotic hand cannons).

So stop using it. Equip it right before you get heavy and right before the end of a winning match. Other than those 2 instances, keep whatever you favorite primary is equipped. Kills with the last word aren't the only things that increase your progress.

When you're sure your team is going to win, equip it when the match is just about over and hide for the last 20/30 seconds. This will net you 3% every time, provided you don't get killed (even after the match has ended but not yet to the rewards screen, this will still take away 1%) it'll only take 34 winning matches. Sounds like a lot, but just do a few matches at a time and it's not that hard. Had quite a few friends do it this way, and I actually just helped a buddy finish this up last Friday with this method.

2 RespuestasIt's certainly not easy, but if you keep at it, you'll get it eventually. I've recently started working on this quest myself, and as someone who hasn't even picked up the last word since before House of Wolves, I've still found a good amount of success with it, so if I can, anyone can. I chose soft ballistics because it kept a lot of the range and stability and only slightly lowered the impact, a trade off I had no problem making. Just learn what ranges and engagements best suit the gun and you'll be fine. I've outgunned doctrines, hawksaws, and even one or two people with mida and I am a terrible shot, but at the right ranges, the last word can still absolutely maul people. Or, if you have the patience for it, you could just equip it at the end of a match you are going to win, which I think gives you 3%, or whenever you have your super/heavy. Good luck.

Or instead of playing the whole match with it just equip it right before the end of a winning match. Takes a bit longer but you won't lose % points for deaths during the match.
