Year 2703:
It has been 3 years since the mass awakening of more Guardians. Thought to be mere pawns at first, these guardians proved themselves to be something much grander in scale? Was it fate or by pure chance that The Traveler chose these guardians?
They have driven the Vex almost completely from our system, destroying not only the Sol Progeny, but countless powerful Vex minds, including the one that could bring it full circle, the powerful Restorative Mind. They even broke into the Vault of Glass and destroyed Time's Conflux, Atheon, which not even the almighty Kabr, Pahanin, and Praedyth could no accomplish.
They destroyed the hive god prince, Crota, and even destroyed his abominable father, Oryx, The Taken King. This weakened their forces considerably, not only removing a good part of the hive itself, but the over all threat of the Taken and avenging Eris's fire team that fell to the Hive.
The Fallen also saw no mercy at the hands of guardians. Their Archon Priests, Barons, Kells, and numbers of their captains, vandals, and dregs fell before these might vessels of light. They even destroyed the leader of the house of wolves, the dreaded "Kell of Kells", Skolas and then eliminated him in the Prison of Elders.
On top of all this, they even managed to run the Cabal Empire from our system.
Now however, our Speaker fears that they not only grow too powerful, but they are learning too much about the darkness. He fears they may discover truths not meant to be discovered, much like Toland, Osiris, and many other before them. He believes it may be time to get rid of them.
A distress call is sent out by the Speaker to all channels. The guardians begin to board their ships and are given coordinates, soon they launch to assess the threat. Entering light speed and entering what is now unknown territory them.
They come out in orbit above a planet that seems to be inhabited by a technologically advanced race. Lights shine on the dark side of the planet, and it seems to be a safe haven out in the darkness. The reason would soon become clear.
A hail of projectiles begin to barrage the Guardian's ship. It holds for a while, but a critical hit landed to the main energy output in the ship, sending it onto a crash course of the planet.
Upon landing a pack of hooded figures begin to search the ship, and see the currently dead guardian. They bring the body and ship back to their base. Soon after, the guardian was revived, but stripped up their gear. They begin to explore the complex, avoiding the security detail. Eventually they find the room containing all their taken gear, but are then confronted by hooded figures once more.
"I see that your speaker was right about you, Guardian" A voice beneath hood says in a low, rumbling voice "You are extremely crafty, not many can make it past a Pantheran guard" the hooded figure says before giving a light chuckle then continuing "I am the leader of the Pantherans, Oroszlán Saja, allow me to elaborate on your situation....." He then removes his hood revealing what looks to be head of Lion atop a broad body. His followers followed suit with other looks similar to the giant felines know to Earth's History.
Oroszlán and the Guardian then converse about what has happened, and discover that Speaker has been in contact with the Pantherans, that the Pantherans are also worshipers of the light, and that the Speaker told them a powerful rogue Guardian was on the way to attack. After all was explained Oroszlán agreed to help them under the circumstance that they help rid them of a threat that has been on going for decades. "Our mechanics have been well known throughout the Galaxy as well, but not many know they are also conduits for the Light"
One of their own had grown power hungry and was using stolen, prototype technology that allowed him to infuse darkness into the land and create Monster of great strength. The guardian agrees to the term, and in exchange, not only will their ship be repaired, but they will help the guardians have the armaments to defeat them.
"Be wary though Guardians" Oroszlán adds before the Guardian leaves with their gear "Not only is the Darkness something you need to be worried about, your former Allies of Light will be seeking you now. Your Speaker has sent word that anyone coming from outside the system is an enemy of the Light and are now Rogue as well....best of luck to you, Guardian."

--------------------------------------------------------------------
New System: Legendary Rogue or Legendary Hero
AI guardians will now be incursions on any planet other than the Planet of the Pantherans.
Upon defeating them you can either Revive them or Destroy their ghost.
Reviving them will raise your Legendary Hero meter, guardians will slowly become easier and ultimately will arrive to give you gear and help you fight any enemies that might be around at that time. The loot you get from them is a lot less in quality, but you get it more frequently
Destroying them however, will result in more powerful guardians arriving that are more aggressive, carry more powerful weapons (all the way up to exotics), and will fight along side the enemy to bring you down. You get gear less frequently, but the gear is a lot higher in quality.
You can get rares, legendaries and exotics from both.
Upon reaching full Legendary Rogue or Hero status will allow you access back to the tower, the speaker now missing. (Your status will be locked the moment you reach max in either). You will also be given a unique set of armors (cosmetic, but can be infused), shaders, ghost shell, and emblems as well.
People will act differently around you depending on your status, and each week you receive gifts (if you are a Hero) or offerings (if you are a rogue). The gifts will be given by all willing if you are a Hero, but as a rogue you can "Force/Bribe" for an offering though doing so will lower any faction experience you might have, and you might not get a great gift in exchange.
---------------------------------------------------------------
New Planet: Tsite
New Social Area: Kyarr
New Social Activity: Hunts
Kyarr is a huge new city, with multiple areas. With all new Pantheran vendors that will be giving out new gear, shaders, emblems, ships, and sparrows. One specifically is a new faction that rewards you upon completing certain tasks namely: Raids, Quests, Bounties, and Hunts.
Able to access all tower vendors including collections, factions, and normal quest bounties from the city as well in the communication tower.
Hunts are a new activity in which a Rare Abomination has a chance to appear in an area. Each area will have several hunts, but even if it is not a hunt you are looking for you still get great rewards for helping defeat it. Regular hunts have a chance to drop rare and legendary engrams, but weekly hunts will drop legendaries and exotic engrams only.

Edit 1: Hey this is trending. I appreciate all the likes and feedback on this as well.
Edit 2: 50 Likes! Seems this idea is....ON THE LOOSE!.....I'll stop now.
Edit 3: I want to clear some things up here. The Pantherans took inspirations from a playable race that was cut from the game http://www.destinypedia.com/Tiger_Man it has nothing to do with furries or Khajiits. That being said the human/animal hybrid and "beastmen" concepts have existed for millennia, it's not a concept that was conceived within the last 2 centuries.
The Rogue/Hero system has nothing to do with Division (I haven't even played it). It's just something to add more depth to game and characters and is a basic staple in a good number of large RPG's and another way to reward the players and let them build their characters the way they want. That is why I also put limitations on each side so it was more balanced, but still allowed people to have their characters how they want them and only applicable in PVE. There is no Player Vs, Player involved, it is purely Player Vs. AI(computer), however going rogue does summon more powerful, intelligent, and aggressive AI guardians the deeper into the rogue line you go.

Great idea, very detailed and you really impressed me. Now for some examinations: The Tutorial (The Betrayal of the Speaker) works well for people who have or haven't played the first game. Great job with that. My main gripe is with the Guardian AI. 1. Are Legendary Rogues the only players who will be facing off against this more aggressive guardian AI in the wild? 2. By the sound of your system, these AI will be in patrol. What if one player wants to revive a Guardian AI but another wants to destroy it? I guess you can appease both and they can do what they like and each will receive a different prompt/reward but that'll just make the ghost of the Guardian disappear. 3. So is the beginning area single player only for a good while? Or are there going to be multiple guardians who were attacked, and imprisoned, and then released to help the Cat-People while on this planet? just questions. overall, very great idea.

I imagined that we as gamers were forsaken by Bungie when I saw this post.

1 RespuestaBungie could use this but instead they decide to nerf fusion rifles

2 RespuestasYeah. All enemies were defeated. Except they still spawn from their caves. LOL. Golems? Shouldnt they be little hairless grey creatures. Well. They have a few hairs. I think shmeegle is the end raid boss. The end of the taken bs is fine with me. It's annoyingly old already.

17 RespuestasI might be wrong but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing something saying it's sometime after the year 3000 in the current time in the Destiny universe right now. Somewhere the Grimoire says it's been "centuries since the golden age".
