You are neglecting to see what I'm trying to say here shotguns take no skill you don't need to aim and if a person's on your screen you're going to kill them. any other gun you actually have to put the reticle on their body.

But you do have to aim with a shotgun. I've used them enough to know that it isn't as simple as your making it seem. 70% of shotgun usage lies in the ability to navigate a map and put yourself in a flanking position. It isn't an instant win button, if you get blasted by a shotgun up close then your death was caused by poor map placement and situational awareness. I won't call on you for using weapons that you enjoy, you like to snipe, go right on ahead, but to imply that a close range weapon working at close range requires no skill is wrong.

What I'm trying to say is the shotgun takes the least amount of skill out of any gun well other then a rocket launcher, machine gun and I guess I'll throw the sword in there too. Easy kills you don't really have to work as much to kill them.

I try not to argue to much, but I do realize that he is speaking [i]subjectively [/i] and not [i]objectively[/i]. It's his opinion that shotguns require no skill, if they didn't take any skill then anyone could use them and win, which clearly isn't the case. Bring a shotgun against a Doctrine or MIDA at range and you'll lose. It's a persisting argument I've noticed, people in all games think shotguns have to much range, when in reality the cons more often than not outweigh the pros since any sniper can do what a shotgun can do, and with infinite range to boot.

He also uses Mida and snipers which are widely believed to be "crutch" weapons that require no skill. Please don't take his opinion seriously. It's flawed and hypocritical.

In case you don't know, a "crutch" is a weapon many consider to require minimal to no "skill" to use. Which sounds like what you're calling shotguns. It's over, bro. How old? Because you sitting here harassing me while I'm at work is really f****** irritating I don't need to explain myself to you whatsoever. Now if you're of drinking age you should understand after about 7 hours of drinking it's a little hard to keep certain weapons on people but you know what with a multi-tool I could kill everyone still being drunk off my ass. So grow up and just stop already.
