a wheel interface would be incredibly useful, and would free up the rest of the d-pad for other useful options, like a weapon wheel for quick switching. I hate going into the menu, waiting for it to load, picking a different weapon, waiting for it to load again... With no elemental primaries while fighting enemies like the taken with a variety of shield elements, this would be useful for switching to the proper weapons on the fly.
