Destiny is better than halo in every way except the story itself, but also i have not beaten destiny yet either, either way destiny, the gameplay, just blows halo up like 5 scorpion tanks with 50 grenades mashed into a tiny ball inside master chiefs helmet resting upon his undiscovered face.

Lmaoo keep dreaming son. Halo MP broke the mold in so many ways. Competitive and casual were both welcomed. Destiny is the most broken pvp experience one could ask for. Is it addicting? Yeah it is
-
Please destiny doesn't have forge, firefight or even custom games. Gamplay is what destiny's kept afloat.
-
Halo is miles ahead of destiny in every way, and it came out 6 years before destiny.

Can we end this war now? As a halo vet I can say there is enough differences between the 2 that you can't really compare them. They are both good games respectively and there is no need to bash anyone on what they like better. Now let this argument lie.
-
Agree with that. Main reason destiny is strife with issues is because this is the first time bungie has made a game where the addictive potential comes not only from spectacular gunplay but also from rpg-themed rng based loot drops. Look at companies that have been making these games for decades, even blizzard has some issues with diablo and wow. No wonder bungie is struggling, this is unfamiliar territory and i think their studio honestly bit off more than they could chew.
-
No, they didn't bite off more than they could chew, it's that they let the community dictate what needs to happen to certain things too much. Yeah community input is good but they took it too far.

Thats absolutely part of it. But there are some fundamental problems like the bugged ass rng system and the constant CONSTANT changes to meta and sandbox. I meant it more as in bungie is in uncharted territory. The studio has MASS experience with first person shooters and that shows in the gunplay, but their studio has zero exp in loot based rpg style rewards along with things like upgrade paths and stat based loadouts, classes, level advantages, etc I think the game presented some unique challenges to the studio and for the most pRt they did alright, but i think this first installment will be a huge learning exp and I really hope destiny 2 will exemplify that
