Trans people using the "wrong" bathroom
The biggest argument I see is "what if a man follows your little girl into the ladies' room??!!" or "what if a male rapist pretending to be trans goes into the ladies' room??!!"
What about female predators going into the men's room? Where's all the outrage about that?

The problem is not whether or not someone will take advantage of a system, thats a given anywhere with anything. People abuse regular bathrooms all the time. The problem is making legislation that gives .03% of the population more social rights than regular people. In other words why do trans people get to pick and choose what bathroom they use while regular men and women have no choice? If you are going to pass laws you cannot give one group more rights and abilities than another thats a definition of discrimination. And thats exactly what these laws are, discrimination against non trans people. They get to do whatever they want meanwhile you get to do nothing. Also the whole premise is ridiculous because how do you prove if someone is trans or not when it is a simple mind set and word of mouth. Are trans people going to have to have official papers checked at every bathroom? I can say i am trans and walk right in there is no way to stop me or anyone else and if anyone does i can cry discrimination and hate. Bathrooms were simple in the fact that if you saw a man or a woman entering the opposite bathroom you could say something and possibly prevent sexual harassment, now to do so would be a hate crime. I would be all for it if they wanted a system similar to some European countries where all bathrooms are neutral. But the trans people and advocates never call for that they call for individual exclusive rights that no one else has access to.
