Well, what do you think about it? Should prostitution be illegal? Make sure to explain your reasoning.
I for one think it should be legal simply because it is the same as consensual sex just with money involved. However, I am open to the reasoning of others and may change my mind.

2 RespuestasUnionize it. Provide safe work places amd equal opportunity employment. Once you get the pimps out of the picture, it becomes a job not unlike the porn industry. Mandatory drug screenings, std checks covered under benifits packages and tax breaks for attire and it may even evolve into a deemed "socially acceptable" career choice. With the number of whores already working, what would be the harm in allowing them to continue under better regulated and protected circumstance?

7 RespuestasI see no reason for it to be illegal. If it were legalized, it could be better regulated, protect the workers, and prevent abuse/sex trafficking.
-
Editado por Psyntifik: 5/4/2016 3:53:35 PMIt's pretty much legal over here. Dont know about the US, though.

Their body, their action. Who cares?
-
Its the one commodity you can sell more than once!

1 RespuestaIf people are interesting in getting an std then go right ahead
-
make it legal. have a lot less pent up sex angry rage out there. maybe world peace? also why is porn legal and not prostitution?
-
You're providing a service.

1 RespuestaIf it's legal can I still go American Psycho on them afterwards or...?
-
Something similar to Vegas? Yes Pimping and streetwalking? No.
-
3 RespuestasJust film it. It's legal to hire someone to make a porno.
-
Sure, as long as they are legal.
It's for people who can't get laid otherwise though.

Like Simmons.
-
As long as the woman or man (or mixture) is 18 or over they should be allowed to sell their bodies however they want. If it's consensual then there's no victim. Another example of government getting to involved in our lives.

Many people of the faith I was raised in wouldn't want me to suggest it buuuuuuuuuuuuut as a firm supporter of the first amendment, I recognize that my religious beliefs should not be enforced by law on other people who may not even share the same beliefs as me. And it is ultimately their consensual choice. Plus regulation could offer more safety and protection for the participants.

It's simple just bring a camera and it's porn and porn is legal.

26 RespuestasEditado por KingTightRymes: 5/3/2016 11:41:17 PMFirst off, it's a disgusting practice and a abomination to society. I'm a guy and I believe that no girl should be so desperate for money that she has to sell her body it's despicable. And if must have your filthy practice then there needs to be massive restraints on it such as, you can't be married, no children, no forced sex, and for -blam!-s sake give them a clean environment so no one gets AIDS. But I don't understand why this is even an argument, has society fallen so low. EDIT 1: I've been exposed my best b8 yet! Haha

Editado por TheMilkman: 5/2/2016 8:03:45 PMDepends on what type of prostitution. It could be the gang type where the pimps collect the funds and slap around people or it could be a actual business like a strip club. The reason why it was illegal is because it was being abused by pimps. Prostitutes selling in front of children and on public domain is not a good thing socially.

Legal, I need some $$$
-
Wether or not you want it to happen it will happen. If its going to happen anyway you may as well make sure its safe and regulated.
-
There is no logical reason to make prostitution illegal. It is consensual sex with money involved. No one is getting hurt and both participants are happy. Where's the issue? In fact, making it legal would make it regulated; therefore the workers would be protected from abuse and sex trafficking. No downsides from what I can see.
-
I think it should be legal, so people like you have a chance
-
3 RespuestasIts like abortion when it was illegal, it still happened and qas alot mirw dangerous. However, It could have crippling effects on education as teens may see it as an 'easy way out' of school.
-
Decriminalizing and regulating it is the safest thing to do for everyone involved.
-
There really is no good reason for it to be illegal that I can think of.
-
All you have to do is record it and call it a porno and it's totally legal right now.

Editado por CrunchyYiff23: 5/3/2016 7:24:09 AMI see no reason for it to be illegal, as long as it's tightly regulated and watched.
