I finally did it...
As I primary PvE player, I've never cared much for crucible at all. Until this past Tuesday, I hadn't even reached rank 2 in crucible or iron banner with any of my characters (I recently deleted my Titan). But today, I finally did it. I finally hit the max rank in the Iron Banner. It was pretty rewarding too. Through the tournament, I went up to a LL 316 from a 305. Definitely faster than grinding it out in PvE. Although now, with that extra boost in my light level, I'm feeling a little more confident to take on Kings Fall for the first time and the challenge of elders as well.
I know y'all probably don't care, but I'm pretty proud of it. And If you're still reading, thanks for your time!

I think a whole bunch of people who never play PvP also get into Iron Banner. It's my only explanation for why I go mostly positive k/d in IB......

Glad to see there are others out there who are like this as well! I'm a PVE player for sure, I'm absolute garbage at PVP. I did play IB this month though, and did fairly well, and I'm quite happy with the drops I got. I went from a 307 to a 318, and feel that much closer to being able to do the Kings Fall raid for the first time!

Congrats. It was only my third time rank 5 on my hunter but my first with my Titan. It was nice to be able to have some decent drops that weren't hidden in a grind fest in the form of raids. RNG hates me in a raid but loves me in IB

You could do kings fall starting from 300+ js, don't let anyone tell ya different, challenge to is basically 300+ if your half decent and got a team.

Kings Fall gives you SO much loot now. It's probably the best way to get high light.

I like the new loot drop and decoding engram system. More rewarding, less exclusive.

305 was high enough light to solo 42 PoE the first 2 weeks
