Yea you really didn't read the post.
Bungie easily could have made the taken gear into a shader, but they didn't.
If you read the post you would've know that.

Answer me this: What is Pay to Win in Destiny? Is it honestly more rewarding to win a blowout crucible game, or to get badass gear. Watch KackisHD. He addressed this perfectly. Sterling Treasure is P2W.

Yeah, everyone knows that. I would say that's it's way easier to make a shader instead of five pieces of gear that look taken, but I'm not a programmer so I wouldn't know for sure. I personally don't give a shit about people buying cosmetic gear and think that people complaining about cosmetic items are too concerned about their look.

Editado por Garvhoz: 5/1/2016 3:55:28 PMWinning a blowout game or getting some kickass gear is pretty damn rewarding. It is also disproportionately rewarding considering that Destiny follows the delayed gratification(?) model of reward where you don't know when your reward is coming. This is the root of gambling addiction and why abused partners stay in abusive relationships. Pay2Win in Destiny at its least heinous model would be buying raid/whatever gear that would always drop at 320 (talking pre-update). The gear would be given to you based on RNG, so you would still be drawing from a loot table. Though this gear that you bought would also have a higher chance to drop with player favorite perks or perks that devs know are much better than others. Maybe even guaranteed to drop with only good rolls. At its worst you will be able to buy gear that is completely unobtainable through playtime. The gear you bought is guaranteed to drop at the max level and has the best rolls available. This gear would also give you boosts that other players wouldn't have access to unless they bought this gear like a 40% chance of getting 100% more materials from opening chests, collecting from material nodes, etc. This could get a lot worse. Also I don't watch KackisHD. Never bothered to watch his stuff, and never will. The videos themselves seem too negative and I don't want my hobby that I do for fun to be ruined for me by negative thinking. Simple as that
