Titans. Point 1: We built the wall. We're the reason the city hasn't been mauled by Darkness minions. If we can build one, we can sure as hell tear it down. See that? It's an ultimatum. "Hunter and Warlocks, back down or we'll destroy the wall!" Of course we wouldn't actually, but the enemies wouldn't know that. Seems too delicate to call us out for bluffing, no? Point 2: We have done some BAT. SHIT. CRAZY. ASS. THINGS. Where to start? Saint-14, legendary Titan, killed the House of Devil's Kell by [i][b]headbutting[/b][/i] him! Kabr, the Legionless crafted the Aegis from himself, then proceeded to (if I'm correct) survive all the way to Atheon alone! (I forget, but I'm pretty sure Pahanin left before) There are more examples, but I can't think of any more now. Point 3: We were the first class of Guardian. Assuming class population grows at a steady, equal, and even pace, Titans outnumber both classes. This gives Titans enough infantry to fight both other classes at the same time. Point 4: Our (arguable) simplicity is our key to victory. Titans fill both the assault (depending on who you ask) and defense roles better than any class. Defender is the most effective defensive subclass, and the other two subclasses are adept at wreaking havoc. Point 5: Name 2 Hunter vendors (Eris Morn is no longer a Guardian), can't? How about 2 Warlock vandors. JUST THE ONE?! It seems the only non-Titan Guardian NPCs in the Tower are Ikora and Cayde. The rest are, you guessed it, the brothers of yours truly. "So what?" Well it seems that Titans are better at landing a fúcking [i]job[/i]. Looking at you deadbeat Hunters (nah JK). But we have the home field advantage. More of us in the Tower means less of the other two.
