The F-35 is worse than the F-22 in air-to-air fighting, worse than the A-10 in close air support, and worse than the B-22 in bombing. It can do all three but what's the point when they cost so much and have so many defects and setbacks?

A fighter jet is a plane which normally patrol the skies and can deliver a quick burst of destruction, The Raptor is the clear winner for that, but the Marine version of the F-35 has STOVL capabilities which can be an incredible advantage in a battlefield, so it honestly depends on the mission, there isn't a "True Winner" for this without variables

The lack of education on the fact that an F-22 is the best combat fighter disappoints me. Also the amount of people that have a lack of education that the F-35 is only better than the 14, 15, 16, and 18.
