Ye you all want VoG and Crota upgraded because the mechanics were so good. How come every lfg team I ran them with ignored all the mechanics and just cheesed everything then?
I remember all the fails on Confluxes because it was a part you couldn't 100% cheese. Even then everyone hid like a little bitch when legions came up, even at level 34. As soon as confluxes ended everyone suicided so they could sit up top with Icebreakers, so much fun right there. Then have one guy jump down for the relic and shoot the templar from up top. Then failure continued again because everyone just had to go invisible at gorgons even after telling them the sound of invis alerted them for the others or because jumping from one rock to another was really hard. Then the usual 10 minute break while I waited for everyone to clear the easiest jumping puzzle there is. Then came hoping at least one other person knew how to use the relic for Gatekeepers which usually wasn't the case so I had to go in the portals alone and pray those 5 people outside could actually hold 1 Praetorian away from the plate, spoiler alert, they couldn't. Then praying again I'd get teleported and if not wipe at Atheon because 3 people who didn't know how to relic got teleported over and over. Or when I did get teleported get killed by a supplicant as soon as I exit the portal because doing 1 millimeter of extra damage to Atheon was the smart move in stead of shooting the jihad harpies killing your teammates.
VoG was an awesome raid with great mechanics. Nobody then gave a -blam!- about that though and just cheesed it to get that Fatebringer and Gjallarhorn as quickly as possible. I'm starting to get the feeling you people want VoG back because you then can get carried through raids again in stead of having to do something like in Kings Fall.
I can't be arsed covering Crota, I'll just say there were enough cheeses in there to solo it in under 10 minutes.

Ah, memories. Good times, good times.

correction: there were enough cheeses to clear it in 10 mins with a team of 3, 2 or even solo. you can still run through it with a good team in less than a half hour though... i agree with everything else you said still

Wow, I am so glad that the best player in Destiny graced us with his VOG carrying presence. So what if you had to carry a couple teams, most higher level players did. Did you never have a team of friends that you could run legit, or even try a couple of challenges. Every single time you ran VOG it was with randoms? This game isn't 100% mechanics or weapons. What about all the great times we all had with our friends or the randoms that became our friends. I cant remember all the times I ran VOG, I can remember all the great times I had.

Thanks peasant, from now on I would like you to address me as Your Highness though. I know what you mean, that's why I said lfg teams at the start. I did have fun in VoG with friends. You can still do VoG with friends and have fun, no need for upgraded rewards for that.

I would love for everything to be brought forward and all activities to be relevant again. That being said i did find it insanely annoying to have to wait 30 min for people to climb that stupid wall at the bridge. Or as you said the gorgons and jumping puzzle after. It is super irritating that everyone wants to cheese when 90% of the time its faster just to play it how it was built. Quit many of random teams because of this. The Templar cheese i didn't mind so much. mainly cause i was usually the relic runner so i was having fun lol. As for the hiding at legions, can speak for everyone, but i think that was a thing to conserve ammo more than to cheese. At least it was for me because back then it seemed like i never had any. "JiHad harpies" LMAO i died when i got here. Well said though.

i never got the impression from any random i was with hid from legions because of ammo concerns, but if you say thats why you did it, i believe you. that one cheese didn't bother me that much, even i it was pointless if your team knew how to chain supers.
