Hello everyone! This is a bit off topic but I just want to share this video I made for my boyfriend. We are in a long distance relationship. He's from England and I'm from the Philippines.
We met while I was working as an Xbox chat support and he was one of the customers complaining about his games crashing lol. (I fixed his issue don't worry!) I added him on Xbox and started playing together. We got along really well and fell in love. Ever since Destiny came out, we've been playing it nonstop. I can say that this game has been a part of our relationship. This community is special to me. It can get toxic yes, but we all know that majority of Destiny players always look out for each other especially in-game. It's one of the reasons I've loved this game especially during vanilla days. Strangers helping strangers get into the Vault, loot cave for days.. you know what I mean. This is why I want to share this here.
Anyway, I hope this video helps/inspire other long distance relationship gamer couples out there especially for the teens. It is important to have the support of your family so your dreams of being together can come true. Don't be afraid to tell/show everyone that you're in love with someone thousand miles away from you. Everything will be worth it in the end. We were just one of the many gamer couples living thousand miles away apart but here we are now, looking forward to our future together! Thanks! :)

I also made a couple montage months ago and shared it here.

Some of you here might remember this post. I've edited this old thread so other people could read our story. I just wanted to share to everyone what's been going on with us. :) It was my turn to visit him and his family so I flew to England on August 31st and stayed there for the whole September. I had a lovely holiday with everyone there specially with him. On September 10th, he proposed to me. We're finally engaged! & one of the best part? Mr. Fruit helped him with the proposal by making a short video for me. <3 Here's the video for everyone to see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw5v3zSW3oc I have included Mr. Fruit's video there as well. :) Thanks again and happy raiding!!! We're back on Destiny now lol haha.

1 RespuestaThis is awesome. I met my husband online playing black ops 2. After knowing each other 8 months online he drove over 1000 miles to be with me in person. That was 2 years ago this month.

5 RespuestasWell we know a relationship built on personal compatibility last longer than any relationships built on nothing but physical attraction. Philippines huh. I was there a year or two ago and I hated how slow internet connection was (or at least on where I stayed with) so your either very patient or you're paying good money for a good connection.

1 RespuestaReally happy for you guys. A few years ago, I would have said that long distance relationships where the people involved only see each other in person once a year have a high chance of failure. But in today's world, long distance relationships are much more common and with the constantly expanding role of technology in our personal lives, spending time with each other without being in the same room is easier than ever. There is only one issue, something that the internet and telephones cannot recreate or replace. I'm assuming you're an adult, judging by your vocabulary and writing, so I'm just going to address the elephant in the room. Sex is a vitally important part of every relationship, arguably the most important aspect, as intimacy fosters a kind of bond that can't be obtained any other way. That being said, my advice would be that if you really care about each other and want to be together, I would take whatever steps necessary to move closer to your significant other. It will only improve the relationship. Anyway, kudos to you and your boyfriend. Hopefully you guys can make it work in spite of the odds.
