Friendly Fire is a Good thing.

Friendly fire is actually quite helpful on teambased fps, why? Because it encourages actual damn -blam!-ing co-ordination, assistance and success. Let's say you're in a firefight, so you throw a grenade. *you're teammate blindly walks in front of you*.... Depending on the grenade, you will die or waste it. So your teammate is hindering your abilities. If friendly fire was on... *teammate blindly walks in front of you like an imbecile*, *gets stuck by your grenade, and dies*... He thinks to himself, *maybe if I don't walk in front of my teammates like a -blam!-ing idiot, I wouldn't of died* End result = Teammates stop walking in front of your shots, grenades.... However in Destiny this won't happen cause these -blam!-ing 12 year olds don't get penalized for their stupidity. I thought it was bad in Reach, a teammate killing me just for the SniperRifle, but damn Destiny is worse without friendly fire. In Halo if a teammate was being a useless piece of shit, I would just shoot him till he got off his ass and actually helped his team mate. (The amount of dirty hardscopers I would betray on Destiny because they are too lazy to actually help their team...). Make Destiny great again! Bring back friendly fire so Noobs are forced to actually help, and not act like imbeciles.

I remember Halo, getting the sniper, getting some great kills and helping the team and then suddenly being killed by a teammate who wants my sniper. I get no option to kick him from the game until he does it three times. If I kill him once I get kicked immediately. Halo 3; 17 kills no deaths it's near the end of the match and I'm on my way for another perfection, my team mate starts shooting me, I keep running from him but to no avail and he kills me whilst I fight the enemy team. Perfection gone. Ruined because my teammates enjoy my salty tears. I'm camping in the base to protect our flag in Capture the Flag and my teammate seems to think that everyone should run across the open ground and charge for their flag despite me having the tactical close range advantage. My teammate starts shooting me for playing defensively or any other play-style that isn't mindless running into battle. Destiny has AOE (Area of Effect) Grenades meaning the same teammates you complain about getting in the way would be worse since they could kill or block off the majority of the team from objectives because of bad grenades or heavy weapons. Having Friendly fire wouldn't help your situation either because you seem to think that players learn that walking in the way is bad when in actual fact all they care about is kills, not teamwork. All that will happen in your scenario is that you would be kicked from the match because you killed a teammate by accident after they walked right in-front of you. It's a bad idea. I wouldn't mind it if there was a hardcore/Ranked game-mode where it was turned on but not for all games because it just leads idiots who think their play-style is better to injure/kill their team because they defend an objective instead of running into close range combat with a sniper rifle. It's funny that you complain that your team get in the way but you also shoot your team for not helping you despite the fact they would probably be the same teammates that get in the way because you are pushing them to play in a play-style they aren't used to.
