Iron Banner is pretty much pointless for now.(imo)
I feel like there isn't a good reason to do iron banner anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the rewards from packages dropping at 320, then what's really the point? You can do CoE or Kings Fall and get max level gear. You can avoid the lag and the shitty teams if you're a solo player by doing other activities. As it stands, in my opinion, Iron Banner is not worth the grind like it used to be. That's a shame because I used to enjoy doing Iron Banner back in year one and sometimes in year two. If only the drops were a guaranteed 335 ghost and 320+ weapons/armor, then it would be more worth it.

Edit: It seems that I was in fact wrong about the drops in ib. Thanks for clearing that up. I'm glad to see that more useful gear is dropping for everybody. Somebody said that I was whining, but I'm not lol. I guess you can say I was generally confused about the drops this time around. I recently ran out of plus so I haven't had a chance to play, and apparently ib has been laggy again, but that could be wrong. I might give it a shot if rngesus decides to bless me with good shit.

I don't know. I've managed to get both weapons with decent perks and at decent light levels. I've received tons of blues for infusion for my main toons gear and tons more for my other two toons. Granted I could have been doing Strikes or PoE, but IB is the only time I PvP, so I've been getting a decent amount of Crucible rep, which has given me two rank up packages as well. To each their own, really.

I took about a month break from Destiny. I came back for IB. I went from 312 to 320 in two days..not bad for me.

So far all my games have been nail biters. And I'm a solo matchmaker.my drops haven't been as good as a lot of people(still find myself finishing 2nd and being the only person without a reward.)but haven't been too terrible. The matches have been competitive and fun. If your only goal is rewards and not just to have fun then what's the point of any game?

If you dont want your armor, class items and weapons at 335 dont play. Otherwise I have gotten 333-335 gear every few games. Pretty crappy to see a whiney post from someone that is clearly confused.

The rewards screen drops are generous if you need infusion fuel for primary, boots or class items

I have received 3 Hatchets above my light level (324-329) and 1 330 Tormods Bellows just from end of match drops. I agree the guaranteed 320 ghost and artifact are kind of weak, but the rewards have been much better.

So many 335 I have seen drop, I have gone up 6 light lvls just playing today I figure if I grind till Tuesday I will climb up to the 330's.

2 RespuestasPlayed about 40 or so IB games since tuesday....my drops 3 x 335 auto rifle 2 x exotic primary = 335 , 334 1 x 335 rocket 1 x 334 rocket 2 x 335 class item 1 x 334 class item 1 x exotic heavy , 335 1 x exotic chest , 335 1 x exotic gauntlets, 335 1 x 334 boots Fisrt game exotic primary (3 of coins) Second game 335 rocket First 335 class item dropped when I was 330 light All of this on my titan... I'll continue the grind :)

It all depends on light level. If you're 330 and higher, you'll get 330-335 gear

You haven't played at all have you? The drops are much more abundant. I have seen some incredible drops for wins and loses. My drops have been consistently above 327. That is due to light lvl. This is going to be your best chance to get drops that encompasses armor and weapons at high values. Don't waste it.

IB items CAN drop up to 335. Look at the patch notes.

All about the end match drops. 4 ARs, 4 RLs, 4 Class items, 1 pair o' boots. All between 334-335 light. Infusion fuel CIT-AY!

Post game drops are base on your light level! And it drops all the time! I haven't been playing too much and I got 5xAR at 334-335 and 5x rocket at 334-335 and a few class items at 334-335.

I have been getting 325 drops end game and I seen a lot of people get 335 drops. If you just need some stuff for infusion then iron banner is great. It's great for me cause now I can upgrade lots of my legendary gear.

Post game drops follow the same pattern as raid and Poe rewards. That's where it's at. And I believe the rank 5 package can drop max light gear or weapons along with the wonderful 320 ghost lol.

All about the after match drops this time around. Back to the way it's supposed to be. Rank packages are just icing on the cake.

After match drops are dropping at 335. Very often. I started yesterday at 327 and ended up at 332.

The after game IB gear drops much more often and they are usually several levels higher than your current light. I went from a 317 to 322 last night alone . Plus it's fun, I used to mainly play PVE but now I always get pumped for the next IB , my favorite game type now.
