  • That's what you don't -blam!-ing get. Any sniper with that archetype and similar rolls does the same god damn thing! When people start getting good rolls on Longbow's and LDRs, I guarantee you you'll see more variety. Before TTK came out, there were a handful of snipers that had that archetype, so there was variety. 1000 yard was the only "normal" sniper with that sought after archetype because it could revive snipe so of course people gravitated towards it. You don't even know what you want nerfed. That's why you're a scrub.

  • Then nerf the archetype or increase rez shields. Make it so you can't one shot rez snipe. I'd be happy with two, so 3v3 players can actually work as a real team Let actual player skill decide a kill as opposed to a good perk roll at the very least, reduce or eliminate aim assist, so that Hidden Hand can be utilized in a balanced way across ALL snipers, as opposed to just three of them. Plus, why not have an Aim Assist toggle so those of us who lose kills due to multiple enemies causing shots to get thrown off can actually get kills. Getting good requires people to rely upon honing thei their skills, and I can guarandamntee that Aim Assist is just an easy button. Combined with a sniper that literally is the only one of its kind that can get the best scopes and Hidden Hand, plus Firefly all in the same perk roll, you get a weapon that deserves a nerf. I've name at least hree seperate things that, when individually removed, can balance 1000YS fairly well while still making it viable.

  • Bungie wants res sniping in the game, that's why they lessened the shield so more snipers can do it. Res sniping isn't going anywhere. Deal with it.

  • Then why even have a shield to begin with? It was weak enough before the nerf since any sniper could get you with headshot, anyway. There was literally no reason to lessen the shield.
