Sword Cannons. I'm serious.
Think FF8, RWBY. Gun Blades, the craft of combining a gun and a blade together.
How about Destiny get's in on that?
I have a few exotic ideas but mainly it's replacing Guard with it changing into or holding the Sword differently to use as a gun.
So hit L2 and now you're aim down sights of a MG. I'd like a High Impact Low Fire Rate style.
It might require showing two sat bars. Or not and have us figure it out lol.
It would have a compact clip so 13-8 shots. Enough for 1 or 2 long range kills in a pinch.
Or in the Special Slot.
Sword Snipper. Think RWBY and that awesome Sniper Scythe.
Bungie please make that.

5 RespuestasOn paper, it sounds fun. In practice, not so much. It'd instantly fall victim to Bungie's poor attempts to balance two metas at once. You can guarantee that Bungie would make both the MG and melee functionality of the weapon mediocre in order to stop it from being a better choice than a regular LMG or a sword.

Id suggest a mortar sword. holding the right trigger aims and you can lob solar/void/arc balls at things with massive AoE damage. A variant could be it launches a more powerful version of your grenade at the cost of your grenade energy and some ammo
