Have you ever had this happen? Let me know in the comments.
If you DDoS it is illegal and you WILL be reported and have major consequences for your actions. Hopefully this video will help the fair players not go through cheaters like this. Don't be shy to report behavior like this guys! Sorry for the swearing, as you can see, I was upset with the situation.
If you want to watch the video, check out my Youtube channel at TD3BUF.
Ninja Edit:
This thread has been edited, removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating.
Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). There are different options for reporting cheating directly to Bungie. There is an in game report function to use while still playing on your console, and there is now a cheating report form for you to fill out here on the website. Creating forum topics to "name and shame" alleged cheaters is not allowed, as it leads to potential harassment of the alleged cheaters.
Feel free to private message the moderator who edited your post, Old Papa Rich for further clarification about why this action was taken.

2 RespuestasEditado por Globespy: 7/1/2016 3:50:48 PMI'm fully supported of you. These scumbags need to go. Bungie could simply fix many of this crap by introducing a system that automatically boots players when their connection drops below a set percentage from their connection strength needed to be matchmaked in the game. So many players start with solid green bar to get in the lobby then start teleporting when they are losing. The sad reality is that the Destiny network was designed to work for the lowest common denominator. So good connections get reduced by poor ones. There a few articles on this, one written by one of the lead network guys at bungie.

2 RespuestasMore people that don't know what DDoS is or how it works.
-
2 RespuestasSee I wish I had something to record with b/c I ran into my fair share (3 groups) and unless I have like proof of them doing so I feel as Bungie doesnt/won't do anything about it so I'm glad these 3 peasant hopefully won't be seen again

1 RespuestaHappen also in ib yesterday got ddos by someone ....bungie pls do something ...
-
3 RespuestasSomeone should compile a list of all the gamertags and PSNs associated with those who cheat (with evidence) and then implement a blacklist from all LFG sites.

1 RespuestaEditado por Mr.Cow: 4/30/2016 7:31:30 PMHappened to me as well in y1. Almost clutched the game with my trusty lord of wolves but the bundle of sticks poped a bubble on me with felwinters.
-
1 RespuestaJust report them in game and move on.
-
2 RespuestasThis is exactly why Bungie needs to change the requirement to 9 wins only instead of going flawless. That will deter people from cheating.
-
Let me know what you guys think of the video. Don't be shy to share as well. More people need to be aware of this issue. The more people see it, the higher chance that other cheaters will see it and stop doing it. Thank you all for the support!

1 RespuestaPm link of gameplay?

1 RespuestaIf you look up a certian player from that team "im" every game of trials he has played the other team has 2-3 deserters in over 30 games.. hope they get console bans

4 RespuestasThe community in general sticks their head in the sand about cheating....
-
18 RespuestasTired of this name and shame garbage. If you're cheating by manipulating the system, you should be shamed. If you're willing to pollute the community, deal with the "harassment" that comes with it. Soooo diligent with ninja edits, yet addressing hot topics and actual concerns is an effing myth. How about sending ninjas to do some ninja work and not secretary duty!

3 RespuestasForgot what Ddos means, what does it mean? ~Soggy~
-
12 RespuestasLol you are such a butthurt kid. I will report you bla bla bla serious consequences bla bla bla. Get over yourself! Everyone can cheat and nothing will happen! Bungie is too afraid to loose people to simply ban them.
-
9 RespuestasTo all the doubters saying, I"ve seen this plenty it's not cheating.....Go check the people in the vidoe's comments and posting history here on bnet. He and his buddies got a suspension from Trials. That means bungie confirms this is a hacker. if it seems suspicious it probably is. I run into lag cheaters and ddos'ers plenty Anyone who says, "I've never seen a cheater in crucible before", I'm sorry, is CHEATING!! This is just a ruse trying to get bungie to look the other way and doubt the legitimate reports of cheaters. Go watch the video. This is as clear as it can get. The streamer even calls it. Usually the boots happen at round end / start so that they have time to go over to their computer type in your ip and hit DDOS. F*cking loser -blam!-s. Where is the fun in CHEATING a GAME???!?!??!?!?!?!??!111
-
1 RespuestaSo I watched your video on your YouTube channel and its people like that who really need to have their teeth kicked in. First of all they cheat then they tea bag? If Bungie has any stones they will ban those -blam!-ers for life. Good effort though man.
-
3 RespuestasToooo bad nothing will be done.
-
50 RespuestasI seriously have to question whether or not you were actually DDos When someone gets DDos their Internet connection and router are trash for days. You can't just turn the system off and back on and get back online.

6 RespuestasEditado por PRINCE_ALI_1985: 4/27/2016 3:27:40 PMIf suspect a DDoS or it happens to ya report it to PSN they will permanently ban that account. It'll take them 2-3 weeks to process it though. I don't know about Xbox though. Bungie only ban them for 2-6 weeks

11 RespuestasDox is illegal not ddos

7 RespuestasI had a 6 man team running Iron Banner last night, and my entire team got DDos'd in a match. We BARELY beat these guys, by 2 kills when we were down 5 kills right before the end of the match. They must have been steaming. They stayed in the lobby and we proceeded to wreck these guys badly in the next match. The score was US around 9000 Pts, them around 6500 Pts., then we all got kicked offline. It's not like it happened almost instantaneously. A few of us got kicked and then a few more until 1 remained, and even he got kicked... Bungie needs to start tracking down these -blam-holes and turning them over to ISIS for appropriate punishment. THESE are the kind of jerks that ruin their game.
-
1 RespuestaReport their GT to Microsoft. Send the video along with a time and date. They will review the data on their end and it is likely someone will receive a console ban sometimes even a I.P. ban. It violates the Terms of Agreements for Xbox live. This will probably take longer however. About 2 to 3 weeks. Maybe even longer.

6 RespuestasI swear that online multiplayer brings out the absolute worse in people.
