As the title suggests....
What is your most noob moment? Past or present.
I'm looking for those noob moments that are ridiculously funny, especially amongst the veterans (year 1 players) who have played long enough that they should know better, yet still pull a noob move every now and then.

Forgetting I'm running bladedancer when starting kf and blinking past the jump relic or off the map.

1 RespuestaDismantling every kegendary weapon that was lower light than my 299 hawksaw and then realizing that perks were far more important than light.. i trie not to think about how many good rolls were dismantled.. cheers!

When I got my over soul Edict, I told all the people in my team that I got an amazing roll on it, not knowing it's all the same roll

Grabbing heavy on Pantheon and falling off the map straight away or, even worse, while the collect icon is still charging. I've done this multiple times. Double jumping to get a nice aerial view of targets for a Nova bomb, but clipping a ceiling/edge just enough to blast myself at point blank range. Even funnier when using shatter and 1 or 2 of the projectiles manage to get past the wall and hit nobody at all because the sudden wall made my aim go way off. Sprinting with a titan all set for a beautiful shoulder charge kill... And another bit of my brain thinks... "Good moment for a lightning grenade!". Rarely ends well. How about when I miss jumps up to that raised entrance on firebase Delphi with enemies inside. I then jump up again but deliberately don't land to make it look like I never meant to make it. Never once got a kill doing that, but at least I didn't look like an idiot! (Sarcasm)

Back in vanilla on my Xbox one I played in a crucible match. As soon as the match started I popped a heavy synth to use it right out of the gate, just to find out it didn't work lol. Face palm lol.

Dropping a bubble just short of land after being catapulted by the man cannon on that one map. It was a 3v2 on the other side and I thought I'd fly in and turn the tides by setting up a beachhead. Uhhhhhhhh NOPE!
-
To say I GOT THIS. Only to mid the ledge to the templar and to fall off the map. Of course that was followed by hero moment of soloing the left complex on my first run with the Mida!
-
When I first used defender I assumed I could shoot through the bubble I pulled out a rocket launcher and yeah...

Editado por Dr Titan MD: 4/26/2016 4:31:50 PMI picked up Destiny some months after my brother and our friends did so as they were running me through one of the Fallen missions they told me to punch one of those reddish glowing tanks on the ground for ammo......boom. They thought it was funny. Also on one of my first VOG runs as we were doing damage to Atheon I thought "Wouldn't a rocket launcher do more damage? Ah memories...

Picking up the shield, for the first time, because everyone wanted the self-rez safety, and not knowing that I could: A.) Disable Templar shield B.) Make my own shield/cleanse Having to learn under pressure (as my friends were all yelling over one another.) was not the best thing. I also have a friend, who had no clue that you could swap sub-classes (Vanilla -> HoW), it wasn't until he asked me how I "became a majestic candle-lighter" that he actually noticed the other sub-class... needless to say, he was both extremely surprised and happy and immediately went to his hunter, put on his new subclass, and proceeded to crucible (before realizing that he needed to level it up.)...

2 RespuestasAssuming snipers were for gods , never used in trials ,one day I picked up longbow , and I asked a guy if it had good roles. He said they were amazing ( what we all consider God roll). Anyways went into trials assuming snipers had bullet drop , shot above the guys teammate accidentally killing the two that jumped from behind and killed the guy in front with the firefly explosions. After that day I thought every kill I got was because my sniper was actually a grenade launcher ( no one corrected me when I called it that till I actually read what firefly was.

Shot a rocket from behind cover a bit too early, skiffed the cover and blew up. Tastey titan bits evrywhere.... I could hear my strike mates laughing insanely in my headset. God damn it. :(

Throw a grenade down onto A on Shores of Time and rush right into the motherblammer.

When I disconnected after farming loot caves for hours without picking a single engram at that point I was so frustrated but that was when I knew it was being sent to the post master. Ah well....

Sneaking behind sumone with a shotgun and......................click :o
-
This wasnt really a noob moment but still funny. I threw a smoke bomb at a team mate which made him invisible(hide in shadows or whatever its called). It caught him of guard so he couldnt tell what gun he had because he couldnt see it. He thought he had a shotgun so he fired it at an enemy right in front of his face. Turned out it was a rocket launcher. He didnt live long. It was hillarious hearing him screaming down the mic.
