Are you Listening, Bungie?
Never, in ALL my years of gaming, have I ever encountered something so unanimously hated on by a community.
Skill-Based Matchmaking.
Granted, the game has numerous problems. I'll ignore all of those for now. SBMM has proven, time and time again, to be the constant plague of PvP. I've seen COUNTLESS posts asking and begging for its removal. And yet, after months of "tweaking the matchmaking," it is still blatantly obvious that it exists, and is consistently ruining the experience. Unbelievably horrible connections, the constant sweaty matches, and the solo-players-against-full-teams-in-iron-banner because of SBMM is pathetic and inexcusable. This is YOUR game, Bungie. The community has been in agreement for MONTHS that this is a problem and simply needs to be removed, or at the very least, DRASTICALLY changed so that it is no longer relevant.
I'm still in disbelief how this is even still a thing. Remember Black Ops 3, when they tried implementing SBMM in? The backlash from the community was loud and clear, and Treyarch, in response, took it back out within a matter of days. YOURS has been causing issues for the game for months, the community has been voicing their opinions on it loudly, and still, nothing has been done. It is simply pathetic that no positive action has been taken regarding the situation, and that you don't listen to the clear voice of your community. It's disrespectful and disgraceful.
You need to fix this, Bungie. We're past the point of asking politely. The community DEMANDS that you remove SBMM from Destiny.

7 RespuestasEditado por Racebum: 4/26/2016 11:30:51 PMit's terrible. i haven't played pvp in about 3 months because of this today i go to try and finished this elimination win bounty i've been camping on since winter. what i find are 1. everyone is 4300+ grimoire, mostly flawless emblems..but that's okay i can deal with this right now the fun begins 1. character would randomly freeze 2. guns would randomly not fire 3. i would die by someone who the game said was behind a wall 4. i could not pick up heavy 5. profiles on other players were often from other countries 6. players randomly would not take damage i gave up after about 45 minutes and just signed off * i have xfinity blast for net and a nighthawk router. that's a 150/10mpbs package and it's all hardwired and i live alone

Back when the game first came out there was no skill based matchmaking. They only added it because of all the feedback from people saying it was needed because people with 3.0 k/ds were being matched with 0.4s and wrecking. The community began asking for skill based so matches were more even and thus 'fun'. Skill based was added overwriting connection based. Lag began showing up in almost every match making people ask for connection based back. Bungie listens and reworks it so that matches match you based on both connection and skill. This helps cut back the lag and people still complain. It doesn't matter what bungie does cause both matchmaking systems have problems and people will never be happy with whatever they end up doing.
