It's easier they said...
With the April update it was supposedly easier to get a higher light level, cause "there are different ways to do it"
Well 2 weeks into it and my Titan moved from *drum roll* 309 to 311 *claps*
Yeah I don't see it easier, infusion got better but what is the purpose of it, if every single drop stays on the good ol' 270-290 I've gotten 3 engrams out of 30 above 290 (299,308 and 313)
Well -blam!-, lies once more, plus now snipers/shotguns have less ammo cause PvP crybabies and the supposed increased drop rate on ammo due clip reduction doesn't explain why I've been running strikes with empty special and empty heavy (try doing Alak-hul now, I dare you to go with TLW)
Yes, I'm salty, no IDC, I wanna state my salty opinion cause April update messed things up worse than TTK release did...
EDIT 1: thanks for all your positive and the not so positive feedback, didn't expect my salty post would get a single response
EDIT 2: thanks for the feedback about maxing light but no one speaks about the reduced special/heavy ammo drops

Just do poe 41. You can get to 315 that way. Gets easier from there.

I really don't know what to tell you. Since the update arrived, I jumped from three 319 chars to 334/334/335, just raiding and doing CoE. Some exotics drops also helped. Keep doing CoE, even after finishing the sigil. Plenty of ghosts, class items and HoW exotics. Cheers, mate.

I went from 314 to 331 on 2 characters in two weeks. I'd say it's working.

Always have on highest gear while decrypting exotics or opening packages

I started with a 307 Titan and now he's 320. And I hardly touch my titan

You're ignorant. I had 3 characters below 320. I now have 3 characters between 332-334. You're not playing the game right.

I don't think they meant you can literally do anything and level up super fast, you have to do end game content. For pvp you can't just run normal crucible and expect to get all the best gear. You need to run trials or IB

2 RespuestasMy tips: Farm CoE like it's your job Do the raid Farm strikes Farm all means of getting loot. CoO for days Blue engrams don't give you crap. Decrypt legendary & exotics slowly Farm reputation. This concludes my tips.

2 RespuestasHave you run CoE? Or KF raid? Iron Bananner (yes that's on purpose) is coming up. Get in there and get some loot. Even if you cant use it, your going to get infusion fuel.

I went from a 294 Hunter, to a 321 Hunter, and a 310 warlock, to a 321 warlock. I'm working on my Titan though...

I moved from 310 to 326 since the update. Only done the raid once since the 12th, but I also play a lot of PvP and PoE and the Heroic Strikes. Just gotta keep at it man and hope RNGesus blesses you ha.

I got from 305 to 319 since april update without doing a single raid. Maybe youre doing something wrong.

Like I don't know how much easier can we make the game.. Lol maybe every ultra drops an exotic ? And maybe just let everyone just pay for light

I moved from 309 to 320 on my hunter. 305 to 319 on my warlock. Dont play on my titan much, but moving some weapons over would make 304 to 311 or so. So yea, much better now than before

Have my toons at 335,334 and 332 after two weeks, I had been 319 for 3 months so yeah it's way way better now. Protip decrypt all your exotics on your highest toon.
