Of course new content brings people back. I've been playing since day 1, and trust me, the numbers have been declining ever since. They can't continuously waste resources on developing SRL, it's just a bad investment on their end. So it won't happen. Sorry to disappoint
This quote is from a post. I always here people talk about "been playing since beta/vanilla/day1"... How did so many people start on the exact day and what is the official date of this mass start point?

Easiest way to tell generally is with emblems to be honest. Even then it's not that big a deal. "I've been here since day 1" carries about as much merit to those who think bringing up k.d. wins an argument on a topic with nothing to do with k.d. like silver purchasing, lore, pve related questions, shit like that.

I downloaded the game digitally at 12 am the night it came out.

1 Respuesta"How did so many people start on the same day" bruhhhhhhhhhhh, really? Like really? You don't want to answer that yourself?
-
Beta or release weekend. 👍
-
Alpha was for pre-orders I believe. Then there was the open beta and day 1 is release date
-
Release date, a lot of people pre-ordered an played it when they got it lol

2 RespuestasI played pre-alpha, alpha and beta. I'm day -2 or -3 depending how you look at it. Pre alpha had a ton of different story elements and ways the game worked. The gunmechanica were the same. I guess that's why they make you sign those NDAs lol. My lips are sealed

1 RespuestaEditado por Sheep 彰子: 4/25/2016 9:30:15 PMI'm a beta player, but I got the game day 1. Day 1 just means that you started playing the game on the day it was released, September 9th, 2014. A week 1 player will have the Sign of the Founders emblem (equipped on my Titan)
-
I started playing in Beta
-
3 RespuestasI would call day 1 the week the game was released. If you started playing during the week it was released you can say day 1 in my opinion. Alpha and beta players can just say they've been playing since the alpha/beta. I guess that would make me a vanilla player now that I think about it. Always considered myself there from "day 1" but I didn't start playing till a few weeks after it came out.
-
1 RespuestaDay 1: September 2014 Vanilla: Anytime before the first bout of nerfs/buffs Year 1: Anytime after Vanilla through HoW Beta: When the beta dropped Alpha: When the closed alpha dropped Its pretty self explanatory, really.
-
if you played during alpha/beta - well, you are an alpha/beta player 9/9/2014 - Destiny Released if you have achievements/trophies on that day, you are day 1 example: Ship Rite Rebuild a Jumpship. Unlocked 9/9/2014 vanilla = after day one but before The Dark Below TDB HOW TTK...

Editado por TheTommieC: 4/25/2016 9:18:47 PMYou always here people..? I've always considered myself a week 1 dude.
-
This game was released on 9/9/14.
-
Day one means people who have been playing since the game was released. Sept 8th 2014 or whatever I can't be bothered to look it up.
-
Sept 9, 2014. Played on that exact day. Loved the game and still enjoy it. I take breaks for other games every now and then so the grind doesn't get too real.
-
Is this a real question?
-
Idk. First week of base game? It took mine a few days to come from Amazon.
-
Beta was June 2014

From now on, I will preface every post I write with "As a Day 1 Destiny player" in order to get the right amount of legitimacy.
