So the increase of error codes I've gotten since the update is MY fault?
So the fact that error code frequency increases astronomically on weekends (in point of fact, as soon as Trials opens every Friday) and during Iron Banner weeks is MY fault?
So the fact that Destiny is the only game I ever (EVER!) get disconnected from is MY fault?
I have the fastest router Comcast (aka: the devil) sells, no significant signal obstructions, and no wireless devices interfering with the signal.
Yet every time I get an error code, you tell me it's MY fault.
Enough bullshit, Bungie. Own your game, warts and all.

20 RespuestasThe bigger problem is that you think that gaming over wireless is ok. That is the bottleneck in your whole argument. Get a wired connection and watch half of your issues disappear. A majority of the issues are probably on the Comcast side, but being wireless is a major part of your issue. Comcast may have done some infrastructure changes as well. If your IP is also dynamic that is another issue. Hope it resolves itself.

1 Respuestaonce had severe problems with hearing my friends in the party and destiny was lagging like crazy so we all left to play other games, as soon as everyone in the party was playing something else the party cleans up and there are no more connection issue with the games we are playing so we all try destiny again as soon as we start up destiny, party problems and connection issues start again

I agree bungie does not know how to do their job. The servers are absolute bullcrap

Bungie blames the victims.

2 Respuestas.
Enough bullshit, Bungie. Own your game, warts and all.
Official Bungie response: Sure thing, Boss. We'll get RIGHT on it!

Bingo. All kinds of screw ups since the update.

Well, some do fail to realize that it may be their fault. The setup they have, packet loss, latency, etc., may not be a subject some of the Community know. I'm sorry to hear that you've had these issues. I totally agree that, sometimes, the game just messes up and the blame is put on the wrong person. :(

Destiny is terrible

2 RespuestasMy mate constantly gets through most of a crucible match and gets booted right before the finish. Every time he wins none of the time :P

1 RespuestaI have the same issue here. When the game was first released this was happening to me and I opened up a few ports for my router and it stopped. At least I thought so.... It started up again with the release of the April update. It's definitely not as bad as it was but it is still very frustrating. It is on their end due to the way the game is set up. If you can go and look at my old posts, I put up a post on how I fixed it and that worked for me. I'm not sure if the ports I used will be the same for you so you should look more into it but it's worth a shot if you can't get it worked out. It was a tedious process to say the least. Good luck.

1 RespuestaYou should clear your cache and check your network connection

1 Respuestacan't do THIS to myself anyMORE MAN! Love playing Destiny, but what's the point? I'm sick of getting kicked off just as I'm about to finish a mission or in the middle of one. heck sometimes I can't even get started without trying a few times. I don't know what's going with Destiny servers, and BUNGIE don't seem to see any PROFIT in working the problem. Like most that play destiny, I have a hard time staying away. But I WILL FIGHT my addiction. I will be TRIUMPHANT!!!... at least for a few months man, I gotta at least feel like I'm getting some kinda payback by not playing for a while, even if it's my delusion. heck I might even trade it in, that's the level of my frustration. LIVE FOR THE HUNT GAURDIANS!! or at least until you get KICKED OFF.

Seems you may be having some issues. We'll be glad to assist you with this. If you would, pleas try clearing your cache and check your network connections. Let us know when you have done so and if this has any effect on your current issue. Regards,

1 RespuestaWhat the hell does this have to do with buffing fusion rifles? Lol! Sorry. But yes, I COMPLETELY agree. No other game have I had to go through this crap. Bungie won't admit anything, though. Too proud of that.

1 Respuestahave you tried turning it off and turning it back on?

4 RespuestasEditado por Maximilian0017: 4/25/2016 3:31:36 PMMaybe you could have a look at the following links when the problem arises again?: http://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status Or https://status.playstation.com And http://downdetector.com/status/destiny If everyone has a problem at the same time it probably is a Xbox/Sony/Destiny problem.(Graph) Are there a lot of problems in your vicinity?(map), this could be your modem/router type, ISP, internet exchange backbone connection. Are there not a lot of general users and users in your vicinity reporting problems?,(map and graph) then it probably is your local setup or the ISP's setup. It's important to know that every device between your console and the Bungie servers has to work correctly for games to work, and those are a lot of devices! Only in the last week I had 4 problems that were caused by Xbox Live problems and not Bungie. About Comcast: Comcast is known for throttling connections and only adding devices used for this throtteling can impact a stable connection severely. I have 4 DOCSIS standard modem/routers lying around here (Comcast also uses DOCSIS) and they all have (a)problem(s), for example problems with : Forwarding with UPNP. Ip reservations get lost after a reset. Dropping packets. Splitting up and re-assembling packets. Filtering/firewalling. It isn't that uncommon for a modem/router/firewall to cause problems, If streaming a movie at 1080P doesn't work reliably or logging into the servers at your workplace sometimes disconnects you should think of your setup at home, you could probably get some help from the IT department at the company you work for. Maybe this helps? Did you try the port forwarding settings from the help articles?, that could solve a lot of problems. Is someone else using a device that uses your internet connection?, give them something else to play with and turn those devices off. Are you using a Wifi between your Xbox and your router?, remove the wifi connection and get a good quality cat 5e or cat 6 cable between your Xbox and the router. Btw. I do not work for Bungie, but I do see a lot of these connection problems in other areas. Edit: Added Playstation network status link

1 RespuestaDude, just clear your cache and reset your network. Should be fine :)
-
Anyone else on a wired connection getting the "No internet connection detected" error message when they first boot up? Everything runs fine when I try again but I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing this. It's weird. Ever since TTK dropped, I've been having a lot more connection issues where as pre-TTK, I rarely had any issue at all.
-
1 RespuestaI rarely get disconnected, have you tried a wired connection.
-
3 RespuestasYou go through comcast... thats for problem...

With this in mind, think about how it gets when iron banner is here and then Friday happens. Trials and iron banner together causes a significant increase in errors and sluggish gameplay. It's obviously Bungies fault. :)

Same shit here

So just to clarify I also received these errors a majority of the time and ran a path ping on the server. Guess what? Not my issue none of the hops on my end had packet loss and yet running consecutive path pings showed that the issue with lost packets to the point of complete disconnection was in fact on the side of their server. Your move bungie
