"Yeah, no records of what went down. Security cameras in some places were a bit fūcky so she didn't see anything out of the ordinary before the crash."
English
-
"Any signs of local populace? I'd hate to run into hostiles here."
-
"Not from what I've seen, just the few survivors from the crash is all unfortunately."
-
"Hmm... Well, I'm almost done here, what should I do after I finish up?"
-
"Just lock it up and keep watch for a bit. I'm tasking you with running the armoury"
-
He nods finishing up the rifle he was cleaning before beginning to sort the weapons and ammunition. "So, the shield, we going to rebuild her?"
-
"Most likely yeah. Did it with the Alamo a few times, figure we can do it with the Shield again."
-
"You mean you've crashed a ship before? That's not a good sign. Remind me to bring my ship along next time, that way at least one of us has a ship."
-
"Heh, chill man. Each crash usually came after a big attack, this is the first time it's just plopped from the sky."
-
"That's not suspicious at all. We need to figure out who and how."
-
"Yeah, that's the plan."
-
"Well let me know how I can help. And on another note, why wasn't Viola in her body to begin with?"
-
"Last time she used it, it got pretty banged up. So I had to repair it, although I never had the time. So I put it in storage and forgot about it entirely."
-
"Oh, makes sense, she was pretty eager to get into it, which is understandable."
-
"Yeah, I doubt being stuck inside an arm is the pinnacle of someone's enjoyment."
-
He chuckled. "And here I thought she was inside the ship, and why is your cybernet in your arm and not your head?"
-
"I try to not keep many things in my head, save for the Displacer. More things out there, the less human I am. And I'm already half machine."
-
"Aw, come on now, we measure humanity as a psychological and mental thing not by what percentage a person's body is still organic. For instance, if I were to lose a leg and get it replaced I'd still be as much of a man as I was before hand."
-
"No, I mean like, I'd become a machine. The inner robot would take over and I'd be a literal war machine, with less and less brain and more and more cybernetics."
-
"Eh, still, as long as you're making conscious decisions you can still choose to be human. It's how come some A.I.s that strive to be human are realizing their goal."
-
"Yeah, that's true. Well I should be out, thanks for the supplies man." JT responds, before grabbing the items he needed and walking out.
-
"You're welcome." He said before going back to work. Not that there was much to do, he'd already done most of it.
