Honestly bigger maps are just more fun and let each weapon to fit it's intended role. They also would have nullified alot of the nerfs. Shot guns shoot to far because they were meant for bigger maps, snipers feel out of place because they are. They are long range weapons but long range now is still a relatively short range. And do I even need to bring up the vehicles? Those were awesome! Now we hardly ever get to go on big maps and the only one we do get to go on is the worst one(in my opinion). I hope they fix this for Destiny 2.
I know lots of people complain about the pace not being fast enough, or not reaching the score limit, and yeah this is a problem but is mostly due to lack of experience on these maps and that allot of the weapons don't work for it anymore thanks to all the nerfs.
[Edit] needless to say this applies to pve just as much as pvp.
For some reason this matters, but I've been playing since beta.

Honestly I feel the maps are already large. Shotguns should not solely be used for running around a corner when someone is near. Scout rifles and pulse rifles now reign supreme because of their range. And most supers will become useless. Snipers will be the only special worth using. I feel most people stay to large parts of the map so they can duck for cover when their health is lower than their enemies and running away is far to easy. Every shooter I've ever owned, I've used assault rifles, even though burst shot and single shot guns are easier to use for the average player. But destiny I've mained scout rifles because the distance. This last update did help alot for the mid rtf autos. I've been able to use my super cell better. But all in all if you run a long distance team with snipers and scouts vs a cq team with shotguns and auto rifles. These maps will almost always play to the long distance team.

1 RespuestaWhy, people won't even use most of the map. They will sit back and snipe.

6v6 on a big map just takes too long. If they could go at least 9v9 that would be better for big maps.

1 RespuestaEditado por xcutioner_0: 4/24/2016 2:17:46 AMWhat, Cathedral of Dusk and The Dungeons aren't enough for you taken tots? Go into Classic 6v6 and wait for Bastion or Skyshock to pop up. Than talk to me.

Editado por Monkeymayhem915: 4/24/2016 3:43:13 PMMake BIGGER maps but not AS big/open as "First Light" or "Skyshock" More maps like BannerFall would be nice Or just make Skyshock etc 8v8
-
Would be horrible unless a completely diff game mode was created...
-
Not till they figure out what to do about all you sniper shitters.
-
I love me some bastion. They really need a 9vs9 or 12vs12 combined arms mode. Heck combine this with salvage relics. And bring back Blood Gulch and Sidewinder.
-
1 RespuestaGo play first light. Then you'll see. They all see...
-
Go play Battlefield and shut up.
-
They have them. They are the ones with vehicles. It's already a play list

4 RespuestasLol you all are taken tots
RIP combined arms
-
Same size map, double story, 8v8
-
They need to make longer sight lines that aren't just easy sniper lanes. Like making the ground un-level and possibly small shortcuts. Having every hallway easy for snipers to stand there with their sights at head level makes for bad maps. Then again, maps that eliminate sniper lanes just open up shotgun rushing. It annoys me that a map can't be really good for either having a good open area for snipers yet flanks and cover for shotgunner a

1 RespuestaGiant maps in a new game mode similar to UT's Assault.
-
Bigger maps plz
-
3 RespuestasBungie needs to make more symmetrical maps before bigger maps.
-
1 RespuestaBungie should add Blood Gulch haha.
-
3 RespuestasFirst Light and Bastian were awful. They're alright for combined arms, but I'm fine with them not being in any other rotations.

Bump because you know it's true
