My KD is trash but in my defense I did tank it hard to get gear from IB because I wasn't getting drops from anywhere. I can live with 1.03

2 RespuestasMy K/D has always been low. I am admittedly not good at PVP for the most part. I'm playing for fun not as a job. That being said, a high K/D means you might be a good player...but not a given. It actually proves you are a cautious player. There are plenty of people with high KD that could be considered "bad" players. Campers, people that play objective based PVP and ignore the objective to only focus on kills, people that barely engage unless they are guaranteed a kill or they run, use team mates to shield fire fights. There are some people that are just highly skilled at the game and have spent many many hours studying how to use the system to their advantage as well as weapon / armor specs. Good for you. In a match one person get 40 kills and 37 deaths. You get 6 kills no deaths. Higher KD but did you really play the game?

5 RespuestasNope. My kd is around 1.7, but my wife plays PvP a lot more than me. Although "my" kd is low, that's because of that silly bitch being shit at Destiny. Personally, I have more kills than deaths, although that isn't reflected in "my" kd. Proved wrong, since personally I have a negative kd, but more kills than deaths.

2 RespuestasId say K+A/D ratio is a better indicator of skill because some people hang back and protect objectives or flanks. Once an enemy, who thinks they're unwatched and can seize an advantage, gets shot they run to cover and sometimes teammates notice and finish the kill. In this instance, this teammate wouldn't get many kills so their K/D ratio would be rather low, particularly if they're focusing on objectives and get flanked themselves, but if you factored in assists they suddenly become quite a valuable player. [spoiler]Notice I said "better" not "best". There's a huge difference[/spoiler]

2 Respuestasi know multiple amazing kd players up around 1.7 and more.....and I've had to carry them through every raid....i know people who suck at crucible but is the best sword bearer i know and can snipe and take care of hidden right Oracle and can run gaze for golgoroth and pop the bubble for you so no kd dosent mean bad or good kd is a useless number....
