Etheric light
Use esthetic light to bring ANY legendary or exotic directly to 280 and gives it infusion.
This would bring back ALL content and fix 90% of the issues players have with the game. It's so simple and brilliant I could cry.

4 RespuestasEditado por WINTER PROPHET: 4/25/2016 12:18:06 AMAs much as I would have loved to have all gear earned with players relevant, Bunglevision has no intention of respecting any of what you spent time earning with or without players you know. David Dague stated outright in an update "your earned gear should be respected". When some community inquired on Twitter as to "if that earned gear would still be respected as per Dague's quote from that update ", David Dague stated...
"That was last year".
In other words... David Dague just dismisses anything he says as if not accountable for his own words. Pertaining to earned Raid weapons, Luke Smith on Neogaf when referencing his decisions to leave elemental primaries you earned behind, Luke Smith stated....
"You are free to disagree".
Simply because whether or not any people disagree with Bungie, doesn't matter to Luke Smith, regardless if you are right and they are wrong. Pertaining to "Community Feedback" like you've stated here in this feedback forum, Sage Merril in reference to community feedback in episode 28 of a planet Destiny podcast stated....
"I don't have time to read community rants, I have too much __blank__ to do".
Basically, our feedback to Sage Merril is nothing but rants to him to be dismissed. And then we have David Dague again on bungies twitch streams stating community feedback on these forums is "anecdotal", because WE state no factual evidence to support any changes in the game. I'll always support better changes suggested by community. Bungie doesn't.

1 RespuestaI still think we need a pirate hat

No. No more god-roll Felwinters, Party Crashers or Matadors please. I respect that you'd like to use your old guns, but in 9/10 cases those old guns cause the most balance instability in Crucible; I'd hate to see them in Iron Banner or Trials of Osiris.

2 RespuestasEditado por stubbs303: 4/25/2016 3:22:09 PMSo for starters I'd like to applaud bungie on one of the best games I've ever played... With that being said I'd also like to point out that over the last 6 months , there has been less and less relevant things to enjoy on this ground breaking game... First we had an amazing amount of relevant content (Missions, crucible, strikes, raids, Nightfall, POE, trials, iron banner, vanguard, crucible, factions, exotics) prior to the release of the Taken King. These all were fun and exciting ways to grind... And let's face it grinding is the true nature of the Destiny experience. Waiting for reset to start my week over used to be one of the highlights of every week. After House of Wolves we had the largest amount of relevant content that destiny has ever seen, thanks to etheric light. At this point in destiny the recruitment board was booming with every playable option in the game. The community was full of people trying to complete sets of gear and weapons that were forgotten. Well, they were a viable option again. Every one looked different, people were exploring new load outs and new ways to take on there favorite bosses... The greatest time the world of Destiny ever saw... These times can return... And ITS ALREADY IN THE GAME... To bring this excitement back to us all that they need to do is make everything relevant again... I have listened to my fire-teams, I have read the forums... And it all shouts... I WANT MY GJALLY BACK... Now gjallihorn is not the only reason to make old content relevant again. And it isn't the only thing that we want back. Now when I say old content I mean EVERYTHING... I repeat EVERYTHING... If we had everything that has ever been in the game back and relevant. (Meaning harder versions of raids, strikes, POE.. Also being able to upgrade every piece of gear and every weapon that has ever been in the game) Now we don't need you to give us all the stuff at 300... We just want to be able to upgrade them... The solution is already in the game as well... Let's just for example use VoG... The gear and weapons are awesome but... Ultimately useless at this point... I believe that we should be able to upgrade them but only after earning it... I love love love my Vision of Confluence so let's say I want to up grade it. Don't just make it infuseable, make me earn it... You could put an upgrade on it that costs and item that I can only get by defeating Atheon on this new, harder difficulty once a week per character... Same with Crota's End and its gear and weapons and POE... In a weeks time the recruitment forum will be clambering for people to join groups that will be doing VoG 39, Crota 40, and PoE 41 as well as kings fall, trials, and nightfall... I also believe all the vendors should sell everything that they have ever sold... And make the old stuff upgradable... And if you want us to earn that so be it... Make the new versions of old content only be sellable at level 10... Sure lots of people are level 10 with 1 faction but not all of them... I can picture it now... Level 40 warlock 311 light score...Wearing Sunsinger Iron companion helm Vision of Colfluence Grasps of Eir Judgement Kellbreakers bond Gjallihorn Deathsingers Herald Frontier shell Broken crown My dream loadout As I see it this should be totally possible... I hope this is in the works because you community is dying and if we wait for destiny2(or 3 as I see it since TTK is about as vanilla as you can get) it will never be revived to what it was... Please save Destiny!!! Your humble Guardian stubbs303

6 RespuestasEditado por TRDoug: 4/24/2016 6:43:31 PM280? How about 335..........make it the way it used to be. I've seen some 333-335 guardians.....so if it's that easy for people who don't have jobs to get to 335 through the prison, why can't people that work and have busier lives have a way to hit 335 too? So tired of the gaming industry being ruled by no life no job streamers and couch potatoes

Gjallarhorn?

That is what I guessed would be the one thing. I agree. Great post.

1 RespuestaDude it's over. They've decided NOT to allow us to bring forward old, better gear BY BRINGING THEM BACK ONE BY ONE OVER THE COURSE OF DESTINYS LIFETIME HAHAHAHAHAHAH they're -blam!-ing genius. All of them Take everything good out. Replace it with shit. Give it back bit by bit.

Yes please

Your mom Cheap Easy The best wombo combo there is
-
YES please!!!! Simple but includes the things people loved!!!! Bump

1 RespuestaBut that would negate the need for me to grind to get back all those year 1 guns that just got bumped to year 2. Yes, I'm a hoarder, and will hold on to my old stuff until I get a year 2 version. I'd really like to be able to upgrade my Supremacy, I miss using that one.

I wish they would..........but it seems their lack of faith in Y2 weaponry being on par with the Y1 arsenal prevents them from doing so..... or it could be that they are incapable of balancing the larger sized weapon pool (or simply don't want to). Either way, its sucks leaving memorable weapons (and armour) behind.

Never gonna happen. I would love it to, but it's just not. Year 1 gear (for the most part) allowed us to move more quickly through content than year 2 gear. Bungie wants you playing their game for as loooooong as possible. Year 1 gear doesn't fit their vision for the future: Unrelenting Grind That being said, their vision is flawed in my opinion because the better experience I have (ex. Year 1 gear), the longer I want to play. Sigh, Bungie doesn't understand what fun means anymore, now Destiny is just a spreadsheet of stats to them. I wonder if the developers actually play the game...
