Editado por darkfool7: 4/22/2016 3:59:19 PMI think the gun should be call placebo stimulant.. just imo
-
It's great for everything in the raid except golgoroth.
-
Sorry but although the weapon looks great... for me the black spindle and touch of malice are still, imo the ones that do more dps if you know how to use them
-
It's already been proven than it does more damage at warpriest if you carry a decent sniper when you're out of ammo. Personally I don't like the malice and it's definitely not needed anywhere in the raid so I prefer to carry the sleeper/raze lighter, decent 1000 yd/stillpiercer/eirene rr4 and hung jury. Don't have any problems ever with that loadout.
-
Personally I played against ppl using it on the raid... and have yet to see someone with the sleeper do more damage than anyone with spindle... the truth is that the spindle plus a machine gun works very well.. and since theres more special ammo dropping in the game... that heavy... its usually better.... Sleeper is only good.. if ppl keeps missing hs on warpriest. .. since the spindle relies in perfect aiming... else its just less effective than a regular sniper
-
It was planet destiny and I believe datto who have tested the total damage of spindle/malice/sleeper against each other on warpriest and the spindle was quite far last. And regarding the ammo drops I find more heavy funnily enough, especially on my Titan using ruin wings.
-
Sorry man I saw the vid... the guy didnt even tried imo.... but im a stubborn person.. sont rhink your gonna change my opinion... at this point with the raid... months released....I dont care wich weapons are used.... it always complete the purpose
-
I'm not disagreeing that it's a viable way to kill him, just that it isn't the only way and if someone doesn't have a particular weapon that there are other options and some can be even better. The malice and spindle aren't needed at all throughout the entire raid by anyone, it seems like the must have gjally days all over sadly, if people have them and would prefer to use a different loadout they're more comfortable with then they still do similar damage anyway.
-
Yea exactly... the raid lets room for options at least
-
You would think so, but the amount of posts with daft requirements is ridiculous. I'm not talking about me but for those without a regular team, it must be so boring not being given an option for how to play.
-
Sniper is better for warpriest. Sleeper only does a few k more precision damage. I find using the sleeper for the rest of the raid is better
-
Sleeper does a lot more damage per shot. It has fewer shots, so when empty, you switch to a legendary sniper. Sleeper+legendary sniper easily does more damage vs Warpriest than Spindle+legendary machine gun. But - at this point, who has trouble damaging Warpriest? Use whatever you prefer.
-
I disagree only because I've done much more damage with spindle/terminus than 1kyard/sleeper. I tested it out a few times and found spindle combo is quicker
-
I formally tested with a team. There is a thread here somewhere. Our lowest damage with Sleeper was higher than our highest damage with Spindle.
-
Pumping out double the spindle shots than sleeper is worth the extra damage. I've tested it too that's why I stopped using sleeper for warpriest
-
Editado por OurWildebeest: 4/22/2016 7:47:52 PM100% wrong. Look up the thread. There used to be a belief along these lines, based on multiplying Sleeper damage x number of shots and seeing that it is less than multiplying Spindle damage x number of shots. But this assumes once you run out, you just stand there. The reality is, you do much more damage until Sleeper ammo runs out, then do slightly less damage (presumably) with your 1000YS or whatever, netting significantly more total damage. You say you tested, but you clearly did not test using any real methodology. Our results were beyond doubt, not even close. Some people think they tested because they tried Sleeper once and perceived it to go slower. Or, maybe you have WoL and tether with one weapon and not the other etc.We were a full team running the fight half a dozen times deliberately testing different weapons, with no modifiers (no WoL or tether ever), and tabulating results. Fwiw, ToM + BoL can outperform either Sleeper or Spindle. But it requires practice since five people are sharing one bubble. Again, it is pretty moot now. Any good team can kill Warpriest in two passes regardless.
-
I disagree I've seen the extra damage using spindle over sleeper does. Even with wol and tether spindle still comes out on top. Maybe now there's less ammo sleeper is becoming useful again
-
Editado por OurWildebeest: 4/22/2016 8:02:37 PMYou may feel Spindle is good enough (it is), or that Sleeper isn't worth infusing up for one fight (fair enough), or that since Spindle is great for Golgoroth, why switch (fair enough), or that you are more likely to run out of heavy ammo than special ammo (true). You may feel overall Spindle is a better choice. That is fine. I use Spindle myself now on Warpriest for some of those reasons. Warpriest is easy with any halfway decent weapon choices now. But Sleeper does significantly more damage to Warpriest - no question. It is not a matter of opinion and neither your opinion nor mine will change it. It is like having an opinion that a foot is longer than a yard or having an opinion that the moon is larger than the earth.

My sleeper is at 332 right now been upgrading it along with my swords. I use sleeper often. I think it's worth upgrading.
-
It's been tested the sleeper does more damage than a sniper, it's only just beaten by 6 malices. Using the sleeper and a 1000 yd with triple tap, spray and play and reload gauntlets will net you serious damage.
-
Never said it didn't do more damage it's just much slower for only a few k extra damage
