  • Why is density even an issue here? Keep your science out of #gaming!

  • Because Massive is running into most of the same end-game problems.

  • But where the biggest technical glitch in destiny was cheesing, where players found the smallest areas and workarounds to beat sections of the game. Division is plagued with huge problems, infinite mags, no recoil, teleportation glitches, no clip for people's bullets, making the game horrendously bad for playing anything but like a douche. I've seen videos where people take down their version of a raid in a few minutes with all of these glitches, farming high end useless loot.

  • Destiny had loot caves. Vaults that were eating people's gear. A PoEs that was so unstable that people were regularly booted from content that they then had to start over because there were no check points. Trials of Osiris had to deal with lag switchers and other forms of cheating. The Crota raid had to deal with people breaking the network connection in order render Crota unable to defend himself. To this DAY, I have not done the CEs raid "legit". I have cheesed and glitched every part of that raid but the final boss fight. So while Bungie has been vindicated to a degree, because MAssive is running into many of the SAME problems. There is NOTHING to be gained by p;retending that Bungie didn't have the same problems in Destiny's first year. Nevermind its first month. In fact, in some areas Bungie is dealing with the same problems still. Was playing IB last night and had to deal with a Hunter who was teleporting all over the place....and a Titan who became "magically resistant" to damage anytime you got within melee range.

  • I'm not saying destiny didn't and doesn't have issues, I'm saying that they weren't as blatant, and not as many effected other players as much. The only infinite glitch that was huge was the infinite shadowshot, which they did eventually fix, but it wasn't infinite ammo, or shooting through walls.

  • The only difference between the two games. 1. Massive is trying to fix the problems quickly...so there is an opportunity to for more bugs to be found as new ones were patched. Other than the loot cave and other farming exploits. Bungie was either slow to patch...or didn't bother patching at all. 2. Destiny's PVP is NORMALIZED. So there is little advantage to be gained in PVP, by cheating the game. Level advantages get eliminated in normal Crucible play. They get FLATTED even in "level-enabled" play like Trials and IB. Where as PVP in The Division is unbalanced. If you run into a player with better gear or a more efficient build....you're simply going to get wrecked. So anyone who is playing PVP is incentivized to either cheat....or cheat to keep up with the cheaters. Which is why you having new cheats and exploits (often ABSURDLY elaborate) being found almost as soon as the old one's are patched. Because you have p[eople who are unwilling to give up their advantage...or are trying to catch up in the DZ arms race.
