Should Dreg's promise get a slight buff?
I think the weapon is pretty unique and fun to use. I feel as if it fall short with other sidearms like havock pigeon. Yeah it has tracking which is awesome, but the range is so short. The bullets also have travel time so it might take a while to hit. I think maybe a slight range buff. Maybe a slight damage buff, but I am not sure about that one. Last thing want to see is this weapon to becomes over powered and band wagon hopper use it as a crutch gun.
What are other people thoughts on this? How would you improve it?

There is no point for the tracking bullets if the range is so short. And yes it needs a buff to damage and range. At this point any other sidearm will work better.

Definitely could use a buff- also, does it seem to anyone else like there's a delay between the killing bullet hitting and the enemy actually dying?

It'd be nice if they toned down the damage drop on all sidearms by quite a bit. Losing half of your damage before 20 feet is a little ridiculous.
