Would you play Crota's End and Vault of Glass in their current state if you could earn Vanguard and/or faction reputation?
And maybe some motes and strange coins.
This would add up to six rewarding activities every week. It's already there; it just needs the rewards.
EDIT: User ljusmc1371 suggested that the raids also give legendary marks (aka that thing I use to buy planetary materials because I'm too lazy to actually go to the planet). This is good.
If for some insane reason Bungie reads this, I would like to point out that, at present time, 625 guardians are in favor of something that only 67 guardians oppose. We have never been in agreement to this degree before!
EDIT 2: User Unbound suggested that rep boosters drop from chests and bosses. This is good and he should feel good.

I play them every now and then for kicks. Adding relevant rewards would just be icing on the cake

But you can earn faction rep. Dismantle all gear and weapons, turn into speaker for motes. Turn motes into faction. Old raids=faction rep!

I would do them without the rewards. They are fun. The motes of light I get from the items I get are a bonus.

1 RespuestaOnce you hit 330 light on your characters you've reached the max item drop level for all Factions, Crucible vendor, etc. COE, Hard KF or House of Judgement appears to be the only PVE activities that will increase your light level past 330. Until VOG and Crota are brought forward and drop max light level gear they will remain irrelevant despite any scenario.

1 RespuestaYeah, i could see that being a thing, but the rep payout would have to be huge. On a side note, if you're doing a lot of strikes, have a few ghosts with ___ extractor on your characters. You get planet materials every time you pick up an engram. (for example, if you have relic iron extractor, and you pick up an engram, youll get 1-3 relic iron per engram picked up, including the ones dropped by the boss!)

Hell I'd play them now if I ever had a team...I solo crota but still... I wouldn't mind doing vog over KF. I like the tunnels that go down into the maze the jumping platforms, and the atmosphere, hell I'd even do it for newbs that never did it before. I have. I still Iike it more than KF.

1 RespuestaSounds like a good idea. They could put in all those little rewards you mentioned and up the level to say 310 or something so its not just easy rewards, there has to be a little work involved. And obviously rewards drop just once a week per character.

Just throwing this out, you can get a bunch of motes & faction rep from doing the old raids. All you have to do is shard all your drops, then exchange them with the speaker.
