They're actually about 7-15 dollars cheaper than they should be, due to inflation.
So you whiny punks who complain about a 60 dollar price tag should quit bitching. Games should be closer to $80.

When a game has dlc before release, it is because they can't charge more than $60 for a game. Therefore, they wait a little bit and release dlcs as time goes on.
-
How about you stop spending your money on video games u fookin nurd
-
3 RespuestasAs a Canadian I have to pay around $80 every time I get a new game.
-
2 Respuestas7-15 dollars added on to 60 equals 80.... I think you may want to retake basic math because it should be 67-75 based off your statement not 80. Or has math changed over the past few years and i missed the memo?

Editado por Wheelz4Realz: 4/23/2016 3:46:14 PMHas math adjusted for inflation as well?

The only thing I would complain about is micro transactions. You bought the game, they have your money, they should just leave you alone. If they can't deliver a full game at launch and force you to continue to buy stuff just to have any fun in the game, then they are piss poor, greedy, sell out, ass hat game designers who have no business being in this profession. Sorry, I do have another thing I hate: pre-order!! This is yet another cancer. I have been burned by pre-order. I give money for a promised product only to have that product not finished?! You have to download patches just so the game will work?! If other industries tried to pull this shit, they'd go out of business. These game companies should be held to the same standard. We as consumers and the holders of the money should not tolerate this behavior

Games are cheaper now days. I remember n64 games 69.99 new
-
^^^^^ Goes to Canada. All games are 90$
-
1 RespuestaI'm fine paying $60 for a good game. For me, it's what I think that game is worth. I happily paid full price for Fallout 4 and MGSV: The Phantom Pain, but for some games I'll wait a little bit until the price drops and scoop it up for maybe $30 or $40.
-
1 RespuestaIn Canada a new game is typically 79.99
-
The reason games have remained 60 dollars I because no one wants to go to target or Walmart or whatever and see their new game at 140$. But instead if u see it at 60 dollars it makes it easier to purchase. If they break it into smaller purchases like dlc or micro transactions they can make more money and keep people purchasing it because the purchase is broken down in small parts

1 RespuestaFor some $60-65 is a lot of money, not everyone is a spoiled Xbox brat. Some people actually have to work for what they have.
-
1 RespuestaThe problem comes when they demand you give them another $60 for the game the promised you *cough*
destiny
*cough*
-
I can buy an Uncharted 4 controller for $65 I can buy Uncharted 4 the game for $60 I can buy a Wii with 2 games for $60
-
Pretty sure nobody is complaining about $60 games. They complain about $40 DLCs after paying $40 on 2 previous DLCs for the same game.
-
60$ for the base game then 20$-40$ for cut content DLC. Most games also do microtransactions as well.
-
2 Respuestas$60.00 game (plus tax) DLC + 'Exclusive content' and pre-order perks that do nothing +$$$$$$$$$$$$ No game is just $60.00 anymore. They break them into smaller segments and make you buy the full version up to and occasionally exceeding $120.00.
-
2 RespuestasThey are $80 in Canada
-
80 is not 7-15 more than 60...
-
4 RespuestasUh, why?
-
1 RespuestaYou can't forget that we're getting more for the same price. Before you'd have a small/large story and decent/bad graphics for 60. Now you can get a just as big or larger story with multi-player, online and good graphics for 60.
-
Go on steam, games r cheap
-
1 RespuestaIn Sweden most AAA games cost around 90$ or around 70-75€
-
1 RespuestaEditado por A Rising Wind: 4/21/2016 8:14:41 PMI used to pay $49.99 for NES games in the late 80s, and many were straight garbage and oh by the way, game reviews were either months after release or non existent so it was buyer beware. Looking over my NES library, the vast majority of games I maybe got 10 hours of playtime out of. $60 for a game today, even average ones is better value by a long shot
