Sunbreaker Warlock (wear those gloves)
Make sure you kill final boss with grenade ! Gives huge bonus.
What I did yesterday was pop my super and I could throw 15 grenades in 10 seconds... easy kill
DONT RUN VOID WALKER ! like some say...those grenades do way less damage then sunbreaker with right grenades !
EDIT: IF YOU CANT TALK ADULT GET MUTED ;-)

Embrace the Void triggers energy drain and grenade recharge on kill. That perk and the Nothing Manacles get you a new grenade with every kill along with regenerating health. The health part is why it's arguably better but play how you like.
-
Agreed ;-)

Editado por sparkymist: 4/21/2016 11:34:07 AMUmm I don't think the warlock is called Sunbreaker....(it's Sunsinger just so you know) Unless you are taking about the gloves
-
Scatter does exactly the same damage as nova bomb. There was a post here yesterday explaining the numbers. Also, with the correct perks, I can have a Scatter grenade generate every 4 seconds. You're allowed to have an opinion, we all are, but it's best to base it on facts not fiction.
-
Every 4 seconds you say ;-)
-
Absolutely 100%. And that's without using a super.
-
stupid. voidwalker wins hands down. nothing manacles plus embrace void = unlimited grenades. I did it on mi own twice

Editado por OPC P1nc: 4/21/2016 11:33:27 AMHave you run it on SUNSINGER with setup I said as well ???? If not... how can you compare ???? I hope your answer isnt I havent...Ill mute you in that case... so tired of people who are not smart enough to talk to...but I hope Im wrong
-
I have run both and the sunsinger setup doesn't come close to the utility of the voidwalker setup.
-
Ill give it a try with the perks you suggest, again in my experience it was solar by a mile... However Ill give it a try, and see if I am convinced, guess it also comes down to style of play. I was using my RED DEATH with sunsinger, so health was not the issue with that ... when I was in danger I made a kill quickly with that. But with voidwalker I played with Bad JuJu coz it charges your super even faster. I guess both are good, still in my experience I favor solar atm. Though I havent tried voidfang robe as some one suggested, I had voidfang gloves.

Editado por Iroh II: 4/21/2016 11:05:42 AMAre you high?
420 was yesterday sweetie
-
Not at the moment ;-)
-
But if you would embrace the void you would have infinite grenades and health.
-
In my testing, I find that Voidwalkers with an Energy Drain build with Scatter Grenade, Nothing Manacles and max Discipline outperform the Sunbreaker Warlock build you use. I ended up trying both, and I definitely feel more effective with Scatter grenade due to the fact that it recharges INSANELY fast, plus tracking and that I clear mobs with just one grenade throw. One grenade kill with Catapult recharges two grenades, so if I keep getting kills, I can throw grenades super fast forever.
-
The recharge is due to your ARMOR perks I think so unrelated to sunbreakers vs scatter discussion to be honest. That recharge is super though. However do you make more kills and do more damage with scatter or solar grenade... I definatly do with solar. Thnx for adult feedback ! +1

Editado por ScotchEggsRules: 4/21/2016 11:21:18 AMNope. The uber quick recharge is from the skill tree.
-
In that case SUNBREAKER has 3 grenades and just as fast ;-)
-
3. Really....
-
Well, actually my armor perks don't really revolve around my build at all, save for Nothing Manacles of course. The rest usually are focused on getting my Super up, as I use the extra energy drain from that sometimes to keep the chain of energy going. Most of my actual grenades are attributed to my near max discipline (need to change one armor piece to be maxed) and even then I can still throw grenades out slower than I regen them. Besides Nothing Manacles, I believe I only have one armor piece that does anything to my grenades, and that's Momentum Transfer, and tbh that assists my melee recharge because my Strength is lacking. So all in all, it's the max Discipline that's really giving me quick recharges, along with me having been able to figure out the heaviest mob spawns in this week's CoE with relatively little difficulty.
-
That was my point exactly, the perks on the armor ;-) (max discipline) Same goes for sunbreaker doesnt it? But solar grenades you can have two...and sunbreaker will give you third...though I didnt use the perk for second grenade and just the gloves so had only 2. But the solar grenade just keeps burning, and the adds always take the same route... so throw it where you know they will walk to and kill 3 with one grenade...though some one managed to do this with scatter as well... I didnt ...when I used scatter I found I needed to shoot them slightly first be4 being able to grenade kill them. And the endboss is super easy with solar grenade... turn on super and keep throwing grenades at him... done.
-
Not here to attack but voidwalkers with nothing manacles and the hunger perk throw a grenade like per second. It's crazy.
-
True... samen goes for sunbreakers though ;-) also double grenade ...but I noticed how one solar grenade killed 3 vex enemies in final round if thrown in right spot and scatter doesnt..you need to shoot them a bit first ... and then it kills just 1 or 2 at most. See the sunbreaker grenade last longer and you get double ... so if you throw them where they spawn its easy, but of course this is preference. However they do more damage coz the last longer, if thrown in right position, and when you activate super ... its grenade party :D
-
They're stationary though, scatter grenades track.
-
Yes you need to know how to aim...
-
Of course you lead the target, as with any stationary grenade. Still rather have tracking than not though.
