Is the thorn even a gun anymore?
This gun seems like I'm trying to throw sticks at someone to kill them now. People need to learn to quit complaining. Bungie needs to not read feedback

Maybe they'll nerf the new good Exotic, Zen Meteor. But yeah, Thorn has become even less popular. And I used to want it.

They honestly nerfed it too much. The way it was before this update was right.

It would probably be better at this point if it just went back to the way it was in Vanilla Destiny. Slow reload. Slow rate of fire. 6 rounds and a huge recoil. It made it able to snipe people yet still do damage. I miss it to be honest.

If they listened to the forums, then things would be insane. Stormcaller would have been nerfed to oblivion months ago, Sunbreaker would have been buffed, etc. The only recent outlier that comes to mind is MIDA. They admitted they felt the gun was balanced (and it is/was) but between people complaining and the INSANELY high % of people using it they nerfed it.

6 RespuestasI just used it in skirmish had 15 kills and 6 deaths. I just miss using aggressive ballistics with it but since they reduce the stability on that perk its harder to get head shots. It does needs to get better but the players complain and i still get nasty messages for using it still.

Bungies nerfs can be brought into two categories, will this gun shorten the pve experience? If so, nerf it. 2. Is this gun popular in the crucible. Guess that means it's time to nerf. These two guidelines have been a factor in every nerf in year 2.

Yeah its a gun. You shoot it. Anyone saying no....i feel sorry for you. Kill the person using it it isnt that hard, use a scout pulse or sniper to kill whoever is using it

It's still the best handcannon in its archetype (32 rate of fire), and it should stay that way. People need to learn how to use different primaries.
