You're not buying from bungie, the eververse store is made and sold by activision, it says it right on the purchase box.

Pfft. Dont act like Activision sent over some programmers just to make the chest. they told Bungie to make them yes, but they did NOT program what we receive from the chests or give the poor "RNG". the BUNGIE dev team did all the programming as they do for everything else in this game. try not to be such a Desticle next time.

I didn't say anything about destiny. I was talking about the eververse store. Everything in that for sale, the money goes straight to activision, it apart of the contract which is public record. Yes bungie designs the items and codes them to Activision specification. Bungie get paid based on how the stuff sales. It's all activision.

The poor RNG was made by Activision too then? nope. Activision does ZERO coding. its ALL bungie selling it at their request, yes. but the duplicates and poor RNG is the fault of the Devs who programmed them...BUNGIE Devs.

It's the fault of activision who tells you what to do. Do you really think activision would tell them to add a micro store without telling how it should work to generate the most money? You are delusional. Anything brought to us by Activision has activision all over it. Why else wouldn't bungie put their name on it. Further more you can see how bungie is trying to fight back at activision and eververse by adding the free silver boxes. And almost every faction rep up gives you a piece of the new armor or at least has a huge chance at the new armor than the old armor which keeps you from having to spend money to get it. You can obviously see the tension between bungie and activision in game if you're not to dense to notice that it.

Desticles are people who defend destiny to the death. Which I do sometimes. But I've read my fair share of contracts and most of bungies. I'm telling you that activision made the rules for eververse items bungie just coded it for em. Thats why the rng in game is 100 times better than that of the silver boxes. As ammeter of fact the 3 free silver boxes have a much better yield than that of those you can buy. I've gotten full sets of gear I've wanted very easily from items bungue actually codes by their own rules as apposed to the silver store which is ruled by activision. Call me what you like the facts are facts amd you can go see for yourself. Bungie has enough hate from decision they make. Don't blame them for following orders too.
