I only played my hunter in PvP for the week of rift iron banner and consistently got 3 kills with golden gun almost every time I popped my super. (You can't sit there and say all of the teams I played were bad). It's not meant to be an up close and personal super. I'm a Titan and I understand the gunslinger is supposed to stay back and flank with GG. It's to catch teams off guard with a great flank, not to charge down a sniper lane where players are hardscoped. I see people on these forums asking for armor for the gunslinger and I just say that sunbreaker hammers better be made into hitscan hammers too if that happens

Congrats! You had 1 successful match! I've been a hunter main since day 1 and have over 45 days of playtime on that character alone and it's not that common you get 3kills per super. And you can't say I'm bad because my average kd on that character is 1.54 and you can't say everyone I versed was good because the average kd for destiny is 0.98 which is not good. I know how golden gun works, but there's this thing called countering. If I'm versing a shotgunner, I don't rush them, I sit back. If I'm versing a golden gun, I either need to be at sniper range or get them to run around a corner and kill them in CQC. Being in a tight spot makes you vulnerable, and being out in the wide open also makes you vulnerable. Almost every single time I golden gun I get anywhere from 0-2 kills. (Usually 1-2 and sometimes in perfect circumstances 3) It's not in anyway an easy mode super. [spoiler]Btw sorry if I came off in an a-hole in this reply[/spoiler]

I did not have one good match as you said. I grinded all the way up to iron banner rank 5. I perfected my throwing knife skills and my trip mine placements. I wasn't hard. I remember thinking that sunbreaker was way more difficult to get kills with. And striker isn't exactly a viable option against gg because you must be close up. Also if you take the over the horizon perk for gg then the hit boxes of other players become even bigger to where you just have to hit close to them. Not saying gg is overpowered. Just saying Titans are the least powerful
