High impact handcannons should be able to kill in 3 bodyshots in close range by buffing the base damage but reducing the crit multiplier. High impact pulses should be able to two burst with 4 headshots and 2 bodyshots. Low impact scout rifles should kill in 4 headshots and a bodyshot. High impact auto rifles should kill in 1 less bodyshot or 1 less headshot.

NOTHING! Nothing needs to be buffed, at all! Auto rifles (doctrine and suros specifically) are good, hand cannons are good, pulse rifles are good, and scout rifles are good. And if anything scout rifles needs the buff most of all but they are already pretty good.

2 RespuestasIf you get a good roll on a HC, they are exceptional. People just either don't know what a good roll is or they are inaccurate with their shots.

They shouldn't do a lot of damage at range but they should still have a chance of hitting if you have good aim. They also need a global stability buff to counteract the fact you have to have range increasing perks which usually hits stability and reload. A reload buff wouldn't be and either as they are really the only primary where a reloader gauntlet is pretty much necessary

I chose hand cannon because there needs some form of ammo buff outside to exotic hand cannons. Legendary cannons still don't seem to have enough ammo to make them last in strikes unless you get enough primary to drop. Sometimes I go through whole strikes where no primary drops until boss which causes a few problems there. Exotic hand cannons r fine , especially first curse, it had an advantage to begin with being one of the hand cannons with the most ammo in reserves unbuffed. With the new update, most hand cannons get their first mag then an additional 60-80 rounds in reserve, first curse get 8 mag and 104 reserve. . .unbuffed BTW xD

1 RespuestaHand cannons just because of the bloom and phantom bullets, their range is fine now just not accurate when your landing shots that do no damage when within their optimum range.

4 RespuestasI think the medium rate of fire pulse rifles need to be reworked to make them as viable as the higher rate of fire archetypes of Hawksaw/Bad Juju and Preydaeth's Timepiece/Grasp of Malok. As it is now, medium RoF pulses kill in the same number of bursts as high RoF, making them less effective as they can't spit out the rounds fast enough.

I have several nicely rolled HCs in my vault that I simply can't use because their accuracy and range is just too crappy.

They should all be deleted except for exotics.

Just buff hand cannon damage and carry amount in PVE by just a little bit and everything will be good. Don't touch PVP primaries. This is the most diversity I've seen.

If they were gonna make them worthless, they shouldn't have used cannon to describe them. Just call them pea shooters.
