So this exotic sword quest......
The farming for special resources is ridiculous. I have finally gotten around to actually completing them. Since I bought all 3 swords I have all 3 exotic quests. Getting the 300 something special ability kills was repetitive enough, but farming for 10 special objects that drop like 1 in 15 resource nodes is just mean. At least the killing was fun as you find ways to kill more people efficiently. Running around in a circle in an attempt to find this special item is insane. Thankfully, my life is boring enough I completed 2 of the quests over the course of more time than I care to admit, and I'm halfway done with the 3rd, but bruh....can we avoid these types of quests in the future?

2 RespuestasUse a ghost that detects either resource your after its quite straight forward if your a hunter you'll be able to find all really fast.

1 RespuestaWhen I did mine for raze lighter I was only 294 light when I had to do the strike. It was so hard and took me at least 15 tries just because how hard it was to coordinate with random players by messaging them what knight you have. It was fun though apart from the GOD AWFUL material grind...Jesus

4 RespuestasThe character I have who is furthest along in this quest is my Titan, who now has 16 of the 25 Crucible sword kills needed. Have I mentioned that I hate PvP? For me, the resource gathering will probably be a snap in comparison. But I feel your pain.

6 RespuestasYou do realize they arent just going to give you a exotic sword right? They want it to be time consuming and also RNG. You just get the resources slow, dont complain about it

(The speaker sells these) Step 2: equip a long range sniper with the longest zoom scope. Step 3: (optional). If you are a hunter equip keen scout. Step 4: fly to the planet that you are searching on and scope in with the sniper. You will notice indicators with targets on them when you scope in. These are the materials. When you descope they will disappear until you are closer to them. The sniper will allow you to find all nodes in that area. Step 5: move onto next area and repeat. (Note staying in one area and waiting for nodes to re spawn is also an option) With this method I got all my farming for a sword done in less than an hour.
